FYI, you need to physically touch the button with your body at the pool in order to repair it.
Going back over 10 years ago, "beta" version of this map was actually first custom map i had ever played and managed to find it again recently.
Despite being "finished" you couldn't actually finish the finale and it had some other major issues aswell, i have tried fixing most of them but there are still some issues like floating items and safe room items being at wrong place but nothing game breaking i hope.
Hell, i'm not even sure if all maps are even made by the original author...
