VR sim racing is something which I never thought I'd enjoy so much. This is all because VR racing games are able to immerse you more than any other VR game due to the nature of sitting in a chair and using a steering wheel and pedals to race. This creates the perfect setup to convince you that you're actually in a car when you're racing in VR. Having a racing wheel and pedals gives you additional feedback for further immersion. I personally use a Thrustmaster T300 RS and T-LCM pedals for my VR rally racing games, and any wheel setup is better than none.

Very true my friend. I feel bad for everyone on pancake mode even if it's triple pancake mode. VR is GODLY!!!!!!
