Опис
We'll build ourselves another town so you can tear it down again

This Victorian style mansion is the Voigt House from Grand rapids, Michigan, sitting on Heritage hill. Built for Carl G. A. Voigt in 1895, the Voigt family lived in the house untill the last occupant died in 1972. since then it has been a public museum.

The architect who designed this building was William G Robinson, who drew inspiration from french Chateux at Chenonceaux.

Very well done! We have similar houses such as this in my area that were built by the shoe barons of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, some of the houses are single family homes while others are now funeral homes, doctors' offices, and apartments.
