A 27-line XML patch that removes terrain like marsh, mud, marshy soil, and soft sand from biomes in world generation.

This is a mod that disables the biomes from producing swats of terrain that cannot be constructed on and penalize movement speed.

Keep in mind that all biomes are affected, and can, and WILL affect how you play your defensive against raids and offensive in quests. It can also affect your access to certain resources like fishing.

What affected are:

• Mud in Temperate Forests
  
• Marsh in Temperate Swamps, Boreal Forests, and Tundras
  
• Marshy soil in Rainforests and Tropical Swamps
  
• Soft sand in Deserts

Those won't be put in new maps while this mod is enabled.

I do not recommend using this mod when you want authentic vanilla experience. As this only will remove an annoyance from most biomes; those terrains that throw a wrench in your creative building plans will be gone.

However. When present in a map, the "useless terrain" can be integral for your colony defenses as they cause extreme slowdown. In some cases, some of them are a source of some resources like fishing by the Vanilla Extended mod that adds fishing.

This also does only affect all new worlds while this is enabled. Any worlds prior won't be affected and the terrain still will be there. If you want your beautiful sweaty bogs back, disable this.
