Setup

1) Open your Taskmanager
2) [Taskmanager] File -> Create new Task
3) Click the checkbox "Run Task with Administrator Privilegse", type "notepad" in the input Field
4) [Notepad] File -> Open -> change in the right Corner the File Ending from *.txt to *.*
-> Navigate to "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" and choose the File "hosts"
5) Now we need the actual Region List of all available Servers.
DbD currently use dedicated Servers from the Amazon GameLift Service, so we will find it in their Documentary[docs.aws.amazon.com]

From this Source we create us now a list which can be stay in our hosts file without having an effect

6) File -> save

How to connect to different Server

Note: Not all Games which make use of the Amazon GameLift Servers, actually use all Servers, so you might never finds a Lobby if you try to connect to an unused Server

If the Programs are not open anymore, repeat Step 1-4

7) copy the whole list we just created before
8) choose a Server out of your List, go into the Taskmanager again File -> Create new Task -> type "nslookup" into the input field
9) just type the domain of the Server into the window which just poped up and press ENTER
10) Copy out the IP Address of the Server [just mark it and right click brings it into the clipboard]
11) Replace every leading # with the IP Address
it has to look something like this

12) Save the File

Now you will connect to this Server to find a Lobby (in this case Tokyo) if you start the Game
Note: The game have to be closed before, because caches are a thing

Revert the changes

To Revert the changes you can just repeat Step 1-4, delete the IP Address Section and save again.

Hello ! Do you know an alternative (not vpn) ? I feel like it doesn't work sometimes
