Achievement/Ending Guide (Updated with DLC)
By エメベアー
This is a guide with all the Achievements and how to get them, plus all the endings. If you did all the endings, then you surely have every all Achievements, although there is one Bad Ending that unlocks none.

The achievements obviously contain spoilers, but I added a non-spoiler guide for those wishing to follow the endings through a certain order of importance.

Starting tips - Spoiler Free
If you are playing for the first time, the basic route is to play however you want.

But, if you want to maximize the suspense, then you certainly should follow an order of events. In this game, each of the endings will reveal information relevant to the final route, and more importantly, they are all different from each other, meaning, you can play one of the True Endings on your 3rd playthrough, and after you go after the other endings, you find a bunch of stuff that you already saw in the final route, the endings themselves will still be surprising, but I personally wonder how it would have been my experience otherwise, since that was my intent from the start, I just didn't knew I could already unlock the True Ending in my 3rd try.

But if you want to leave the best for last, then a few things must be explained.

Ariadne

This game has a lot of Greek Mythology references, and Ariadne is a princess who gave Theseus an ball of thread to retrace his way out of the Minotaur's Labyrinth. In this game, Ariadne is the system that records your progress, so in Visual Novel Style, all the main events appear as nodes, and connected to each other.
  • Small Nodes - Only exist to show there is a path there. You can't "teleport" to them.
  • Big Nodes - They are nodes that can be "teleported" to, meaning you can go back to any point in the story. They also serve as a reference book of sorts, since they will have terms and meanings as the story progresses. There are some nodes that can be locked due to certain circumstances.
  • Ending Big Nodes - When it's possible to get them, you will be able to see a colored light on the location they are supposed to appear. You can teleport to them, so you can see each ending any time you want.

Scenes can be skipped as long as you have already seen it and there is no question / choice to be made. Hence you can assume that non skippable scenes have new content even if you are playing subsequent playthroughs.

1st Playthrough

There are no plot choices here, so play as you want. After you finish the 1st Ending, you start the 2nd Playthrough from the first Node, you can then Teleport to the big node before that ending, make other choices to get the other 1st ending.

2/8 Endings

2nd Playthrough

The moment you enter the 2nd+ Playthrough Base branches, you will go back into playing normally, since you can't unlock the final route yet. You will have options in regards to the 2 "heroines", do what you want, and you will unlock 1 of the 4 available endings.

As a note, in my opinion it seems easier to do the RED Path now instead of BLUE's, (to avoid spoiler, I'm using the colors) I will also add that there is one Node in the 3rd path later on that makes BLUE's path easier than RED's, so if you want to save time and avoid breaking your heart with harsh decisions, I recommend doing RED now, and BLUE later.

3/8 Endings

3rd Playthrough

Avoiding the True Endings.

This time, you will go back to the base of the 2nd+ Playthrough Branch. Before teleporting back to get the other ending, do play through normally, this start will show you 3 Cocos in a room, each following a different story, you can only do one now, but each time you come back, you can do another, so you can do them each time you finish an ending.

Before you reach the 2nd fork (the Fork is the Node before Noa's 2nd concert), if you did all the right choices, teleport back to the last big node of the ending you have already done, and do the other one.

4/8 Endings

Once you start from the Coco Room again, only 2 will appear now.

Play again normally, doing all petal choices, and the Left Fork should be available now, so If you follow all these new options, you will enter the final path, although reaching the True Endings are still a bit far away, so don't worry, and all Big Nodes of the "mixed" 2nd Route part will be locked, hence you can't go back to a close big node to get the other option.

However, you will notice that start of both routes are similar in regards to events, meaning, you can make bad or meaningless selections that will connect the 3rd route back to the 2nd route. Once you connect there, you can do the Ending of the Heroine you didn't do yet.

Thus, if you followed my recommendation and you did RED before, then keep in mind there is a node close to the WHITE START that shows Noa in your room, this is the final event that can branch out, thus, if you do the wrong choice here, you can easily get to BLUE's route, and after you do both endings, go back and chose the right option, to resume to the final endings.

If you unlocked BLUE's ending first, and is already on the 3rd branch, the forks back to RED route are earlier than BLUE's, so you can go through those.

5/8 Endings

After unlocking the final Coco at the start of the 3rd Playthrough, teleport back to the closest Big Node to the last ending you did, and do the other ending.

6/8 Endings

Now you can just skip the new start (now that all Cocos have been selected, it will just go straight to the first one), if the 3rd branch is blocked, it's because you chose a bad option before the fork, so you will have to fix what you changed.

In any case, try to teleport back to where you are the furthest in the final route, and ensure you get all choices with ascending petals, and eventually you will get to the last boss, and then one of the True Endings depending on what you decide.

7/8 Endings

Now that you finished the game, just go back to the Ending big node, and do the other option to get the final ending.

8/8 Endings

Here is a Video with most of the Ariadne, so you can see where you can go through to meet each ending.

I have made a timeline with the main points in this video, so you can use that to guide yourself and find where you want to go.

The annotated screenshots I made for the walkthrough found below were made before I unlocked all these paths and made this video, hence, they assume some things wrongly (like a very long true path, and a larger anima path, without knowing where the branches would be), as they were based on the results of my first time playing. The video shows everything much better, and should be used as reference instead, but I do understand that value in images as a map, so they still work.

------------

If you already got one True Ending before doing the other remains of the 6 Endings, I would suggest leaving the last True Ending for last, and do the others first. Both for the sake of your mood, and also to keep one of the ending Start Screens.
1st Playthrough
You can unlock two endings in the first Playthrough.
Here is a Map of the parts. Some of these branches can only be unlocked in further playthroughs, so just play as you think is better.

Direction starts from the bottom to the top, up until the branches divides between right and left

Starbreaker
.jpg]Defeat the first Meteora
You can't miss it, even if you miss a shot, you can still try again

Revenge
.jpg]Defeat the Meteora that killed Coco
It's the basic requirement to get to the branch for any of the Humanoid Meteora's Endings.

- Humanoid Meteora's ending
Purple Star is "Good" Ending, White Star is Bad Ending.
Direction is from Bottom Right to Top

Astray from Polaris
.jpg]View the "Astray from the Polaris" ending
This is the Humanoid Meteora "good" ending. Select options that consider Humanoid Meteora as Coco. When prompted to go to the surface or stay in your room, go to the surface, you will meet Dieter. Try to convince him to understand you. Follow his plan.

Bullet of Betrayal
.jpg]Shot by traitorous Deiter.
Bad Ending. Chose options that disregard the Humanoid Meteora, you can be friendly with Noa. When prompted to go to the surface or stay in your room, stay in your room.

New Start screen

Humanoid Meteora
2nd Playthrough
The 2nd Playthrough starts after either of the 1st Endings, since Chloe learns of the Analyse ability of the Makhia. Analyzing is impossible before receiving this information, so it's impossible to unlock the branches in the 1st playthrough.

After unlocking any of the 4 endings below, you will start the 3rd Playthrough. It's possible to move from the 3rd branch back to the 2nd by selecting bad or meaningless options there.

The Map starts from the Bottom Right, moving towards the Upper Left.
2nd Map is from the large Star on the Left towards the Right
Hesitation's Beginning
.jpg]Analyze the attacking Meteora on the surface
Self-explanatory, instead of killing, Analyze the first Meteora's attack. Required for the 2nd+ branches.

Singing
.jpg]Attend Noa's night concert
This is guaranteed as long as you analyze the first Meteora from the above Achievement to unlock the new Branch.

Her Wish
.jpg]Analyze the Meteora that killed Coco.
Similar to the previous Meteora attack, Analyze instead of attacking to open the 2nd+ branch.

Beautiful Monster
.jpg]Start exploring the surface.
Likely guaranteed once you enter the 2nd branch.

Disharmonious Pact
.jpg]Fight alongside the Meteora with Coco's form.
Guaranteed with the 2nd+ branch storyline.

Fallen Star
.jpg]Began researching the Unique Meteora Anima.
Likely Guaranteed as part of the story.

Pray Upon a Star
.jpg]Attend Noa's impromptu concert.
Guaranteed, Noa's 2nd Concert soon after the experiments start.

- Noa's Path
I feel this one is somewhat easy to miss first, but it's easier to get them later. One way of doing it easily is to use the Inhibitor on Anima both times. If you do not use it on the tests (because it will waste a turn), Julie will offer you at the end of the tests one for free. Use it.

You will enter Noa's Path after this, although it has few nodes, the amount of text is VERY LONG. You can skip many scenes on your second time though.

UPDATE: Another easy way of getting on Noa's route, without having to punish Anima, is through the 3rd playthrough. There will be more opportunities to meet Noa, and at one point near the end, she will make a question with petals. Chose the wrong option and you will get on her route.

The Blue Star is the "Good" Ending, the white star is the Bad Ending.
The map starts from the small stars with the most connections, towards the Middle Right.
Continues from Middle Left towards the Right

Be nice to Noa (Partnership+ options), and treat Anima as an evil Meteora. You entered Noa's Path

Unsettling Shadow
.jpg]Defeated the mysterious being. (This should be wrong... Defeated by would be more appropriate)
Noa's Bad Ending. Don't take Noa's hand.

The Fairy's Ark
.jpg]View the "The Fairy's Ark" ending.
Noa's "Good" Ending, take her hand when she offers it.

New Start Screen

Noa

- Anima Path

I think this is very easy to enter, but nonetheless, get good responses from Anima, never use the Inhibitor, and you will get to this ending.

The Red star is the "Good" Ending, the dead-end is the Bad Ending
Maps starts from Left towards the Right.

Unforgetting
.jpg]Decide to continue researching the Unique Meteora Anima.
Anima path. Be nice to Anima during the experiments and options related to her being similar to Coco.

The Unforgiven
.jpg]Defeated Yamato in battle.
Guaranteed on Anima's "good" ending...

The Celestial Cradle
.jpg]Viewed the "The Celestial Cradle" ending.
Anima's "Good" Ending. Select options to be nice to Anima, and then defeat Yamato once he stops you.

No Achievement
Anima's Bad Ending. Although the credits roll, unlike the other options, it doesn't have an Ending Star. Do not pull the Trigger against Yamato (You are forced to do up to joining the Rail Cannon, just don't pull the trigger).

New Start Screen

Anima
3rd Playthrough
Unlocked after finishing any of the Anima or Noa's endings, this also includes Anima's Bad Ending.

As you start near the start of the 2nd Branch, during decisions (both for answers and actions), petals will surround you, if you select the right choice, they will ascend while disappearing. They also appear on the first branch. Hit these choices correctly to enter the new Branch.

The new branch starts in the Star previous to Noa's 2nd Concert, and the new Branch will also unlock with the same Concert, but on the opposite side. (I'm unsure why not branch it from the Concert itself. *shrugs*

However, by selecting bad or meaningless options in the tests later (similar to the events of the 2nd branch), you can go back to the 2nd Branch to reach the other endings.

The 1st Map's starts from Middle Right, curving and ending on the Top Left
2nd Map starts from Bottom Right to Middle Left
3rd Map starts from Top to Bottom (Ending near the first star.)

Innocent Flower
.jpg]Deepen bond with Unique Meteora Anima.
Guaranteed. Be nice to Anima in the final branch by giving her items related to Coco

Premonition
.jpg]Witness Noa and Anima's resonance.
Guaranteed. Get Noa to sing with Anima

Wishing on Stars
.jpg]Defeat Noa in battle.
Part of the story. If you are facing problems defeating her, Analyze the first attack, then counter on the 2nd.

ALTDEUS
.jpg]Defeat Altdeus in battle.
Guaranteed. Defeat Altdeus, the Final Boss. If you are facing problems defeating her, Counter the first attack, and analyze the 2nd.

- True Endings
Both are available on the same final star, based on the choice you make, hence, both are True Endings, and none is more canonical than the other.

Coco's Ending. "No, don't do it!"
Noa and Anima's Ending. "Do it."

DLC - Episode Yamato
The DLC is necessary to get all achievements now. The new route appears in the main menu on it's own route.

It's short and it happens in Anima's route, so it's better to get those endings before trying this one for context. After you get one ending, you can select the new option to go straight to the only battle of the DLC, so chose different options to get the alternative ending.

This Time I'll Protect Everyone
.jpg]Began Episode Yamato.
Self explanatory. Play the DLC, you get it at the start.

Rocking You Awake
The Day You Return

To get this ending, use the shield in the second attack at least.
To get this ending, attack every time
Problems
An achievement did not unlock when it should have been automatic

We have had complains that the first achievement from the Yamato DLC was not unlocked. I have no idea why it happens, I could make some guesses, but nothing that can confirm it, in any case, this is most likely a Bug.

But the game has some time now, and if we look at their history, there isn't much to say that they would be willing to fix it. You may see that Tokyo Chronos may have had an update a few years later, but this seems to be related to a VTuber that was going to play the game, and so they patched some terrible translations before she started. This game doesn't have such problems, and I don't think a VTuber playing Altdeus would complain about Achievements, so the chances of this being patched are small.

In any case, you can use Steam Achievement Manager[github.com] to unlock the achievement yourself with no shame, since the chance of them fixing it now is pretty minimal. I don't think there is a risk of Ban because achievements are just some fluff for your steam account, with no monetary value really, unlike Steam Markets cards, emotes and backgrounds, still, good people shouldn't abuse it, and just use it to fix what was done wrong. :)
Credits
I thank MyDearest for this great game, the Mecha Battles were amazing, the Soundtrack is amazing, the Plot is amazing. Seriously thank you!

And I believe Mr. Togoku deserves an award as the worst father ever. Seriously.

Also, my map is unlikely to be 100%, so I'm open for corrections, suggestions, or, if someone makes a 2D map of the whole Ariadne, I can post it with credits to you.

This is only a guess of mine, but I had the game before the DLC, unlocked everything, then I got the DLC later, and it unlocked instantly. Maybe if you bought the game with the DLC in one go, there could be a bug or something.

In any case, you can use Steam Achievement Manager [github.com] to unlock the achievement yourself with no shame, since the chance of them fixing it now is pretty minimal. (Tokyo Chronos had a late update fixing some terrible translations seemingly because a VTuber was going to play it, but there is no such problem on Altdeus)
