How to launch the original release of Bloodrayne or Bloodrayne 2 using the Terminal Cut
By The Fifth Horseman
The Terminal Cut re-releases come with the original (or "Legacy") version of the corresponding game.
However, for some unexplained reason it is not present as a separate item in your game library - to access it, you need to switch to the "Legacy" beta channel.
This guide explains how to do it and a possible workaround to add it as a separate library item.

Switching to the Legacy beta channel
  • Right-click the game in your library:

  • Click "Properties"
  • In the dialog that appears, click "Betas"

  • Click the drop-down and select "Legacy"

Unfortunately, you can't control which version you start - when the legacy version is opted into, Steam will only launch that.

I'd suggest using this to install the legacy version, moving it elsewhere, then opting out of it in Steam and adding the copy as a separate "non-steam game" to your library. That should work, but I haven't had much reason to test it.
