WHY I CREATED THIS GUIDE ?:

While in the process of learning how to create war paints for TF2, many mentioned my color scheme wasnt following the TF2 color palette. I then started researching each paint color individually, to see complimentary colors, tints etc. I figured those infos could be useful to some looking into creating for TF2.

HOW IT'S GOING TO WORK ?:

Ill upload to image for each color, containing the color scheme obtained from the color tool mentioned above. Each color number will be listed under the pictures in RGB. There will also be a link to a google drive document for the GIMP color palette, including all the colors mentioned in the section.

HOW DO I USE A CUSTOM COLOR PALETTE IN GIMP?

- Open GIMP
- Go in the Edit menu and Click on Preferences
- at the bottom of the list, click on the + next the folders
- choose Palette
There you'll see the file path where gimp saves your custom palette usually.
- click on the one with a checkmark, which is the one used to save your files usually, it will then be highlighted.
- click on the folder sign next to the file path to open the folder containing the palette folder
- click on the palette folder
- copy the file found in the google drive in your GIMP palettes folder.
- close and reopen GIMP
- choose the color palette dialog in Windows, you should see your new palette added :)
