Why I made this guide and spend several hours of my life?

Back in I think 2016 I saw YouTube video where someone scrape Welcome to the Clutch sticker and it showed hideen text Welcome to Hell.


For me, it was a cool moment and I wanted to know if there are more stickers with these hidden secrets. But for this to happen, I would need to buy all stickers and scrape them, to find out which one has a secret, and it would cost a lot of money which I didn't/don't have. After this sad realization I forgot about it for some time.

It is year 2020. Covid-19. A lot of free time and finally new operation Broken Fang and I remembed that there are hidden images when you scrape stickers. Over some time I found out that software for exctracting files from CSGO exist, so I downloaded GCFScape for unpacking all stickers from CSGO folder then installed CSGOSDK and load stickers and adjust wear of stickers, so I could see if there is any hidden images/text. After that I released my first guide which people liked, so I make this new guide which will contain all stickers from all collections and capsules and which have some hidden secrets.

This guide contains 514 pictures and will show only sticker that have secret. If sticker will scratch and have no improved or different outcome, I will not show this sticker here.

With Armory update, you can now Scrape preview:

Like weapon skins have rarity, so stickers have same rarity distribution to.
Contraband rarity sticker can't be found in any capsule or sticker set. Can be only bought in Steam Market. Howling Dawn

Stickers can be found in 4 types - Holo, Foil, Gold, Normal




I figured out I could classify stickers to 3 categories depending on outcome of the stickers after scraping them. You can scrape sticker 9 times. 10th scrape will remove sticker from weapon. Don't be afraid, game will show you warning, when your sticker will be removed.

Sticker that scrape like in real world and have no hidden secret.

Sticker that scrape background and leave part of the stickert and make sticker unique versus original one.

Sticker which reveal different image or somehow alter or add details to original sticker after scraping them.

The foil sticker is an evolved version of the paper sticker, swapping the base knives for karambit knives (they resemble cat claws, I think they are very fitting!), the star from the original T-side logo (just vertically flipped for flavor) and enveloped by cool design elements (the abstract volumetric triangles background is something I've been pushing in other stickers, it's time consuming but I really like the result!).
