Prerequisites
This guide aims to help players get all four ending achievements (The Devil, the Star, the Sun, and Temperance) in 1 save.

  1. Finish all story quests until 'Nocturne+Op55N1' (CHECK THE PARAGRAPH BELOW)
  2. Finish Rogue's first side quest ('Chippin In') and get the quest 'Blistering Love' in your quest log but do not finish it.
  3. Finish 'Riders On The Storm' and 'With A Little Help From My Friends' and make sure you have the notification/quest log for 'Queen Of The Highway' (but DO NOT DO IT. Save it for your next playthrough)

Do note that during the mission 'Search and Destroy' you will need to have Saved Takemura (He is not marked on the map. You will have to do this of your own volition)

Once the above four have been completed. Save immediately. This will be the save you will come back to after every ending.

It gets a little tricky from here, but for simplicity this is the order I would do it in:
  • Complete The Devil first. Requires the least effort.
  • Go back to the original save you made and finish Panem's quest line (Queen of the Highway). Before you complete 'Nocturne+Op55N1', make another save (I'll call this S2). Complete The Star next.
  • Go back to S1. Finish Rogue's quest line (Blistering Love). Complete The Sun next.
  • Go back to S2. Finish Rogue's quest line (Blistering Love) and complete Temperance next. For the 'Temperance' achievement, you will need to have completed both Rogue and Panem's questlines.
The Devil
    THE DEVIL
  1. Easy. Trust Arasaka over Johnny/Rogue or Panam on the balcony.
The Star & Temperance
    THE STAR
  • Call Panem for help on the balcony
  • When talking to Alt, make sure you live your life and walk to the well NOT the bridge

    TEMPERANCE
  • Call Panem for help on the balcony OR give your body to Johnny and Rogue.
  • When talking to Alt, make sure you give your body to Johnny and enter the bridge NOT the well
The Sun
    THE SUN
  1. On the balcony, let Johnny and Rogue take the reigns
  2. When talking to Alt, you can choose whatever you want (Well or Bridge). I suggest Well (seems nicer)

This guide is a bit convoluted. As an achievement hunter, I did every single quest/gig/event, except for the "Queen of the Highway" and managed to end up getting all of the endings (I did Queen of the Highway after getting all the other endings to get The Star ending as my final achievement).

Even if you did the Queen of the Highway before finishing the other endings first, I feel like it would still work because the only thing the quest prerequisites do is add additional dialogue options to get to the other endings.

The only thing you guys really need to make sure you don't miss is saving Takemura earlier in the game.

After getting the Sun achievement, i didnt reload from S2 but reload from the point where i busted Smasher. From there i get Temperance achievement. For both Sun and Temperance i have completed all side and main jobs (so Rogue and Panam timeline were both completed). Go to the well=Temperance, go to the bridge=Sun.

How did you unlock the "Chippin In" side quest without completing "Playing It Safe"? I have "Playing It Safe" in my quest log but haven't started it yet, and "Chippin In" is not available for me. I looked online, and that side quest doesn't unlock until you finish "Search and Destroy". So how do I meet prerequisite #2?
