V/Line Vlocity - 9 Car (PTV Livery)

The V/Line Vlocity is a diesel multiple unit operated by V/Line on regional rail lines throughout Victoria, Australia. Built by Bombardier and introduced into service in 2005, the Vlocity currently forms the backbone of the state's regional rail fleet, having replaced a large number of locomotive-hauled cars. The initial order of 29 two-carriage sets has today grown to 88 three-carriage sets, with a further 18 under construction.

All the mods listed under Required Items are optional. Additive Shader adds the front headlights, rear lights and side destination board, while the two Vehicle Effects mods (both required) add the Vlocity horn and diesel motor sound effects.





This 9-car train comes in the current PTV livery, the latest colours applied to the Vlocity. A 9-car set is yet to operate on the network, but one was tested on the Regional Rail Link in June 2020, so I figured I’d release it. It’s very long though, so I wouldn’t recommend using it unless you’ve got extensive custom station platforms.

Loading Screen Mod to enable texture sharing and reduce RAM usage. All carriages and trains with the same livery share textures.

Additive Shader for the front/rear lights and destination board to appear. Alternatively, use Visibility Control for better performance.

Vehicle Effects AND Extra Vehicle Effects for in-game Vlocity horn and diesel motor sound effects.
