Hello, I've come across amazing guides here on Steam on how to acquire Nuka-Cola paints for free in Fallout 76. Strangely enough no detailed English language guide exists on steam or anywhere really. Being an avid lover of writing guides and foreign languages I decided to ask this kind person for permission to use their guide as basis and add upon it.

I was given their permission to go ahead and expand on and translate their guide. I did my best to keep as close to source material as possible while expanding and making it better.

The new things include a few tips here and there, English language screenshots, and videos.

This guide wouldn't be possible without Alex and I wouldn't have known that such possibility to acquire paints for free exists.

Greetings to all Vault Dwellers from Vault 76.

I believe everyone knows that there are many different Power Armor paints and skins in the game. In most cases, however, one cannot find the plans for the in game because they are only obtainable for atoms (paid currency) in Atomic Shop.

That said, there are paints that can be obtained not for atoms but rather with your own sweat and blood efforts.

It is important to note that getting this paint is easier than getting "Nuka-Cola Quantum" paint for X-01 Power Armor .

Quest World Objects i.e. quest items that are spawned in the world for example key cards take 24 hours to respawn since pickup

This guide is about acquiring "Nuka-Cola" paint for T-51b Power Armor

We're going to Pylon V-13





From fast travel point you have to go forward slight behind the pylon and then to the left. There is going to be a stump and a green duffel bag with the "Toolbox key"

Next up - "Watoga Shopping Plaza"

Go to Watoga Shopping Plaza




And open the toolbox located to the east of the shopping plaza





Take "The key to Clara's Box" from it

Next up - "Sutton"

Visit the township of "Sutton"




Find Red Rocket Workshop and to the right of it you will see a broken down blue pickup truck with a doghouse nearby. Inside the doghouse you shall find Clara's box. Open it and volia.

Take the Nuka-Cola locker key

Next up - "Kanahwa Nuka-Cola Plant"

Visit the place that you visit for both Power Armor paints - Kanahwa Nuka-Cola Plant





Enter through the main entrance, and go on the 2nd floor in the room with globe statue. There proceed into the tasting booths through the employee passage. (Better just watch the video below)

You will come across a level 1 locked door

Go to the far end of the booths and open the locker to loot "TNT DOME KEY 3"

Next up - "Black Mountain Ordnance Works"

Go to Black Mountain Ordnance Works where you also pick up "Nuka-Cola Quantum" paint for X-01 Power Armor





Just go down the main road until you pass the big tree behind which on the right is a dirt pass which leads to Dome 3

Go in and pick up the plans from the table



If plans are not present chances are someone has beat you to it and you need to server hop to spawn them.
