With roots dating back to previous century, Die Mannschaft is a traditional German Elite formation, a true All-star division consisting solely of Die besten der besten. Commanded by the notorious SS-Sturmbannfuhrer Manuel Neuer who dominates the battlefield simply by his presence, and lavishly equipped with everything a soldier could ever hope for, units of Die Mannschaft are used to being outmanned but never outgunned. Although regarded as the master of defense, Neuer is also known from his unique ability of quickly turning defense into offense in the form of decisive counterattacks that can easily set the enemy off balance, preventing them from reaching their goal.

Current opening composition for the 1944 Ostfront Cup:
Neuer (1) Commander of the division.
Pipan (9) Provides the much needed close-air support, ready to strike at the enemy from above.
Oberloskamp (3) Holding the left flank, lingering at the edge of forests, waiting to ambush the enemy.
Wittmann (6) Acting as a reliable strong point into which the defense line can be anchored.
Harth (2) In defensive support role ready to provide assistance for the heavy hitters.
Neigl (4) Long range fire support. Has lately suffered from injuries, might not survive for full 90 minutes.
Nicolussi-Leck (10) Highly maneuverable main offensive force, the real Playmaker of the division.

Die Mannschaft’s many aces and especially dive bomber pilots are all highly decorated yellow card holders, ready to do whatever it takes to emerge victorious from the field of battle. Die Mannschaft performs best as a mobile breakthrough containment force and excels at working simultaneously towards multiple Goals.
