Descripción
Displays the internal item ID of an item in its tooltip.
This mod is clientside.

Features out-of-the-box support for:
• Any mod that uses vanilla tooltips (aka most mods, like 99% of them)
• Starbound
• Betabound

• CN More Farming: Revitalization

"Hey! This item doesn't show its ID...!"
Please open Quickbar and select 'Show Item Names' to open an analyzer which displays the item ID and tooltip. Please report the tooltip in the comments so I can add it to the list of known tooltips! (SIN needs to know a tooltip exists before it can replace the rarity label)

So basically the only way we could do it right now is manually do that. Like go into the tooltip for every single item and add the label that way. Which is as far as you can get from being practical. Damn.

@ComradeCorvus not really. even with StarExtension's, we're just one layer off, so we'd have to guess the file name

Is it possible to make a mod that just, says the name of the mod an item is from?

@soundtoxin Thank you! I updated the mod to include its tooltips. If you see 'Version: 29' for Show Item Names in the in-game mods menu (the brown cog in the bottom-right of the title screen), you're running the updated version

Indeed, I'm using "Weapon Stats" + "Legendary Tooltips". With that tool I see "soluskatana" and "LegendarySword".

@soundtoxin You probably have a mod that replaces the tooltips for them. Can you use the Show Item Names analyzer in the Quickbar and tell me what it says when you hold one of those weapons, please?

It seemed like maybe none of the vanilla Legendary weapons showed their ID by default, but that's probably known. For example, soluskatana, but I went to my chest of other weapons and I think I noticed the same for the rest too.

Well, i'm glad that there's also the analyzer in the quickbars, it could be inconvenient but a reliable method, thanks!

played around with a left-aligned price label. I don't think I'll go through with it, unfortunately. if you physically have the item in your inventory, you can open 'Show Item Names' in the quickbar to show the name without the price label

@DeLemmur if those tooltips show the item ID, it's compatible. I can't do much for the text clipping over the price label, unfortunately, sorry. I'll look into moving the price label to the left side, and the rarity label slightly to the right, but no guarantees
