Oh, I meant the term - "atheism" wasn't used until the XVIIIth century, if I'm not mistaken. Non-believer, skeptic and godless were the words used to describe atheists back then, as far as I know.

That´s interesting, but I wouldn´t call someone being an atheist "ahistorical" on the middle ages, of course not openly, but disguised? Yes.
