NOTE : NOT A GUIDE ON HOW TO BERING

The Bering is a plane in Just Cause 2 that many people hate for its overall failure.

In this guide, I'll talk about the pros and cons of the Bering and how you can use it in game.

I will reference the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod.

Without further ado, let's go!

The Bering is fat, slow and difficult to land or take off. It's impossible to take off without a proper runway, as the plane is also very fragile. It's also very hard, if not impossible to do an invert or a twist.

Although the Bering definetely has drawbacks, it does have its uses. If you're playing the multiplayer mod, then it'll be hard for your friend to fall off (but not impossible). Since the plane is slow, its easy to handle. When you turn, in other planes it would make you do a twist, but with the Bering, it does an easily controlled slow turn. Since the plane is slow, it's easy for a newbie to the game to fly.
Due to the planes large size, it makes a good explosion when you bail out. It's easy for your friends to see in the multiplayer mod from its large size, and it's even easier if you use noticeable colors like bright pink, orange, yellow, red, green, etc.

Personally, I sort of like the Bering. It can be used well in a lot of ways, and instead of exerting myself by writing all about it, I will just make a list.

How To Use The Bering Well

• As A Suprise Attack - As you know, the Bering makes a large explosion from it's size, so it is useful to bail out and destroy people/cause chaos. If you use vibrant colors, then it'll cause more confusion when a giant pink Bering flies out of nowhere and explodes.
  
• As A Fly By - The Bering is both slow and hard for your friend to fall off of, so you or your pal can fly at a slow pace and use a sniper, machine gun, assault rifle, but not a rocket launcher, or you will likely cause damage to the Bering. And we know how fragile the Bering is. If you absolutely need to use a rocket launcher, you can shoot at the plane for a kamikaze or to be a jerk, or shoot behind the plane for the least likely chance that you'll damage the Bering.
  
• As A Bridge Limbo Plane - The Bering is slow and easy to handle, however it's large as a trade-off (it's still easy to fit under) . If you dont know what I mean by bridge limbo, its a challenge for going under bridges in a plane. And it's fun!
  
• As A Plane to Have A Snack In - The Bering is slow, so you can probably drink soda or eat some doritos while its going slowly.
  
• As A Plane to Start Piloting In - The Bering is slow and easy to handle, so it's great for pilot rookies. If your new to Just Cause 2, I strongly recommend the Bering as a start for learning how planes work, instead of a Leopard or Cassius.
