The Practitioner (Vanilla Version)

he Practitioner is a bit of a mix between an Antiquarian and an Occultist, being able to provide support from the mid ranks, while also being able to find artifacts that both bolster his skills and provide gold.

The Practitioner comes from the distant Sunward Isles. Once a prevalent member of the Sunward aristocracy, he lost his seat in the court in a magical duel with a rival onmyoji. After a failed plot of revenge against his rival, he was cursed with the appearance of a koi.

This version of the mod does not require the Sunward Isles mod, here's a Sunward Isles Version if you're looking for that. Be sure not to use both versions of this mod at the same time.
Parts of this class were designed with the Sunward Isles in mind, so some of these skills may not make perfect sense in this context.



===== Artifacts =====

When interacting with curios and after winning fights, the Practitioner has a 50% chance to find an "Artifact". There are three types of artifacts, and each one provides buffs to two different skills. All Artifacts are worth 1000 gold at the end of a quest and can stack up to 5.

Combusting Talisman

Standard damage move, Deals extra damage vs Eldritch


Self-Immolation
O O O O
Deals low damage to self, gives mediocre amount of damage reflection. This amount is increased when "Artifact of Fervor" is in inventory.


Invoke Enenra
O O O - | O+O+O+O
Deals minimal damage and debuffs target's accuracy and healing received. Ignores riposte. Damage is increased immensely when "Artifact of Fervor" is in inventory.


Bustling Gale
- O O O | O O - -
Deals middling damage and pushes target back 2. Gains large crit bonus when "Artifact of Serenity" is in inventory.


Calm Mind
- O O -
Cures horror and debuffs on self. Gives a reasonable stressheal to self. Gives hefty stress reduction buff to other heroes when "Artifact of Serenity" is in inventory.


Thalassic Remedy
- O O -
Heals target slightly and cures bleeds. Heal is increased greatly when "Artifact of Faults" is in inventory.


Strike the Earth
- - O O | O+O - -
Deals low damage and has a low chance to stun. Stun chance increased when "Artifact of Faults" is in inventory.

The Practitioner has access to the three common camp skill in addition to his own camp skills:


Craft Provisions
Cost: 1
Uses: 2
Produces Supply Items


Unearth the Hidden
Cost: 2
Produces one type of the three artifacts. Has a small chance to give two artifacts.


Palm Divination
Cost: 1
Uses: 3
Buffs target's virtue chance. Has a 50% chance to additionally buff stress reduction marginally.


Protective Seals
Cost: 3
Provides Party with ample -crits received buff. Additionally, provides prot against Eldritch.
