When using the Dio Strategy, one must start out by obtaining the most important skill at the start being Time Stop. However, after you finish Level: 1, it is not guaranteed that out of three options of starting skills will include Time Stop. So, you must restart and repeat the process of doing Level: 1, until you have received the choice of Time Stop. Now, play on till you see the option to obtain Vampirism, and then select it. Congratulations! You now have all you need for the basics of the Dio Strategy!

Q: What does Time Stop do?

A: Stop time for 3 seconds, 15 seconds cooldown.

Knowing the basics is nice and all. But, we can add upgrades! Unfortunately, this is random as to when the upgrades will appear for you. When you see any of the following, grab them!

A: You can stop time for 5 seconds instead of just 3.

Q: What does Reduce Skill Cooldown do?

A: Your skill cooldown is reduced by 1/5.

Q: What does Killing Reduces Cooldown do?

A: Killing an enemy reduces your current skill cooldown by 1 second.

• Make sure your Time Stop has no cooldown or the shortest cooldown possible when finishing a Level.
  
• When you have used Time Stop, do not touch any enemies or enemy projectiles as they can hurt you still.
  
• Increasing your Max HP will make you more beefy, and with the Vampirism your HP will replenish well.
  
• Increasing your Max DMG will help kill the enemies in Time Stop faster.
  
• Increasing your Max SPD is very efficient in helping you move around and kill in Time Stop.
  
• Choosing to have Faster Swing will allow you to slice foes fast in Time Stop.
  
• Having Sword Wind will help kill your enemies afar in Time Stop.
  
• If there are no desirable choices but More Choices is an option, choose that as you will have an extra option in every level completion from there on out.
