All HIDDEN documents [SKILLS and LORE]
By danillo
This guide will show you where and how to get all the hidden documents in the game. Part of them will give you special skills that XIII have forgotten about. The rest can be seen in the main manu, in case you want to know more about the lore behind the main story.
IMPORTANT: As You can tell through this guide, I'm showing EVERY documents you should/must pick up at your first attempt. It'd be unnecessary to show you files you could've picked up some levels before.
In short: this guide will help you to unlock every lore documents PLUS all skills during the campaing.

Unlocking Skills (or Talents) [Blue documents] and some notes
NOTE: I think blue documents unlock the skills for the player. I skipped one of them, not being able to unlock the skill for First Aid. Surprisingly, later in the game I unlocked it with another different blue document, so don't worry if you skip one.

NOTE 2: My game is in Spanish. Don't worry: the position of the skills should be the same. Just take the document and check it from the pause manu.

NOTE 3: Documents NOT shown in this guide MUST BE TAKEN by the player. Inevitable, so there's no point for me to show them here.

That said, let's begin.

You can access the lore documents by pressing the "Continue" button in the top left of the main menu and going into the submenu labeled "documents". As far as needing to collect the documents again: I'm 100% sure you need to collect the blue skill documents again and I'm like 99% sure you need to do the same for the lore documents

Hey, XIII speedrunner here.

We made a spreadsheet that has all of the important documents (aka. skill documents) in it. Feel free to use it as a resource to improve this guide. Of course you can also use our screenshots as well, although I don't think you'll need to, since you already did a pretty good job with yours. :D

Here's the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19Cpc-lo2hYAPNAl083AdJY1ZdCq2-FBLbX_X986oWfM/edit#gid=0

If you want to get in touch feel free to message me on steam :)

i just tested the skill thing, all blue documents are skill documents, all brown documents are lore documents, there are no lore documents in the game that are missable. The blue documents that you have listed are actually all skill documents, not lore documents, for example the one in Bristol Suites Hotel gives Sniper Skill. You missed a blue document thats in Spads Camp which gives Dual Weapon Skill. There are 3 different locations for each non-essential skill, for example; First Aid Skill locations are the two that you listed plus the one in Sanctuary Crypt.
Essential skills arent missable by the time they are required. For instance; Silent Walk is essential for Submarine level and can be obtained early from Spads Camp, but is missable from Spads Camp, therefore if Silent Walk skill isnt obtained by the time you get to Submarine level, you will automatically aquire it as soon as the Submarine level starts

You're only going to avoid picking up First Aid and Lockpicking? Why not also avoid picking up the other non-essential skills such as Sniper etc as well? i said; ofcourse non-essential skills are avoidable and theres several locations for them so you have several chances of getting them. But ofcourse essential skills such as Breathing Skill theres only 1 location for and is impossible to avoid. This is because they're essential skills that would otherwise be impossible to complete the game without. Breathing Skill for instance is essential because otherwise you wouldnt be able to get through that long under-water pipe without it, as you wouldnt be able to breath under-water long enough without it

You dont need to experience finding them to know lol, its just obvious
