Through your life in the game, you will receive some requests from the inhabitants of Inaba that you can complete in exchange for a variety of rewards. If someone requires help with something, you will see a speech bubble with a blue quotation mark. After accepting their request, this quotation mark will turn grey.

They are not important and you should ignore most of them if you want on your first playthrough if you just want to enjoy the game. They can get pretty grindy/too specific later. Social Links should be the priority. They're mostly for items and for maxing out and the only reason to do them is for the achievements in NG+.

Sell them to Old Man Daidara and then buy the Vidar's Boots from him. Head to
Practice Building 2F and trade your Vidar's Boots with the Artisan Apprentice
for Animal Slippers. Head back to Ms. Kashiwagi to finish the quest. ¤

67. Dazzle Me With Animal Paw Gloves

¤ ***Warning: This quest will be one of the most annoying quest in the game.***
First, make sure you either have or catch a Guardian because you will need it to
get the Mondo Stone. To get the Mondo Stone, head to the shrine during the night
and trade the Guardian with the Lady in white. On the next day head into the TV
and collect 8 Magatsu Xandrite, which drop from Golden Hands. Magatsu Mandala,
3F is probably the easiest place to farm these. When you've finally acquired
all 8 of the Magatsu Xandrite, head home and sleep. On the next day, do what
you need during the day and then during the night head to the Shiroku Pub and
trade the Mondo Stone and Magatsu Xandrite for the Animal Paw. Finally, on the
next day talk to Ms. Kashiwagi to complete the quest. ¤
