By Gaming Gekota

  • UseTripleBuffering=False

///Form moddb
FOV setting for widescreen correct work
If you use "All in one" installer - you don't need this

Go to where your game is installed and find a folder named “System” once there look for a file named “DefUser.ini” when you locate it open it.

Look for these two lines:

DesiredFOV=85.000000
DefaultFOV=85.000000

If you have a monitor with a 16:9 ratio change the number to “100.000000” if your running with a 16:10 try “95.000000” as that seems to work pretty well. Save and exit.
Resolution setting
If you use "All in one" installer - you don't need this
Look for a file called “XIII.ini” in the same folder, and open it up. And look for entries named

The game or the fix? My link goes to moddb and this file there since 2019 and I don't think that some virus will be on moddb for 5 years

Could those fixes mess up the save system somehow? I've played it for a few hours, saved a bunch of times and quit the game. Then I returned to it a few hours later and there were no saves from my last session. I now need to replay about 1/3 of the game again

It would be good to mention that if you change DefUser.ini after you've already created a profile it won't work. You'll need to create it again.
