Wave 8 is also one of the weakest waves for Mech and it's not really pointed out here.
To clarify why, Pyros can't reach the wave if a bunch of tanks are sent, and Berserker also gets stuck on those tanks.
To those wanting to use Mech in classic or the campaign, I'd recommend just looking at Pyro starts from top players seeing how they adapt their built and practice something similar to that in those games. Look at positioning, try it in sandbox against various sends etc.
