I found a group on YouTube that makes time-lapses of the community’s exploration. I went to their website and found lots and lots of maps with info, but each of them on their own was hard to read and see patterns in, so I overlapped all of the maps. I left their logos. https://youtu.be/m2XFKx-hzmM

The thing that everyone forgets when they go looking for un-explored systems is if they aim for a "landmark" like a nebula and head towards it, chances are other players have already done that so a lot of the systems on the way have already been explored... This map really shows those "highways"... stray off the highway and head towards nothing in particular and you very quickly find un-explored systems...

The little bar on the bottom actually isnt far off of the number Fdev gave while talking about first bootprints. Im sure thats not what they called it.
