War crimes 101

So you want to know how to commit war crimes huh? Don't worry about the Geneva suggestion, this is Vietnam after all.

No need to worry soldier, this guide contains all of the information you'll ever need when commitng war crimes.
You will learn the basics of capturing, breaking and eventually killing your enemy. Don't worry about the FNGs telling the CO about what you did, many accidents happen when hand grenades are involved.

"I never want to forget. And then I realized… like I was shot… like I was shot with a diamond… a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God… the genius of that. The genius. The will to do that. Perfect, genuine, complete, crystalline, pure. And then I realized they were stronger than we. Because they could stand that these were not monsters. These were men… trained cadres. These men who fought with their hearts, who had families, who had children, who were filled with love… but they had the strength… the strength… to do that. If I had ten divisions of those men our troubles here would be over very quickly. You have to have men who are moral… and at the same time who are able to utilize their primordial instincts to kill without feeling… without passion… without judgment… without judgment. Because it’s judgment that defeats us.

Catching your victims
The hardest part, 90% of players would rather die then surrender. This part will show you how to get your future victims. Remember that being stealthy increases your chances of success.

-Try Sneaking up on one of them. Hide in some bushes and wait. When that GI/VC runs past you patiently observe him and wait for the right moment to strike. As soon as he stops moving put a gun up to his head and kindly yet firmly tell them to drop their weapons and follow you.
- Try breaking their will to fight, bleed their tickets and cap points. Sooner or later you'll find some enemies who are willing to surrender. Remember to have a war correspondent at the scene, your team could always use a morale boost.
- Napalm and flamethrowers do the job. Set their ricefields on fire and watch them run for cover. Set fire to their foxholes and tunnels.

Executing the plan along with your POWs
The most important part of this guide. I have listed some methods of execution, remember to come up with your own. The more methods you know the better. Killing them in gruesome ways will lower the enemies overall morale.

- A shot to the back of the head always does the job. Always have one of your buddies at hand, someone has to take victory photos after all.
- Put'em up against a wall and fire. Remember to reload and repeat the proces to make sure your victims are REALLY dead.
- Getting more creative. Lead them into traps, put claymores around them, use molotovs/flamethrowers, cut them into pieces with the Huey main rotor. It's all up to your imagination man.
- Shoot them in their limbs and let them bleed. Let's see how long we can make that damn sniper who camps at the other end of the map suffer.
- Beat them to death with your weapons. An oldie but a goodie.
- GET SUM (Full Metal Jacket style baby!)
Interrogation tactics
Sometimes the enemy may possess useful information about hostiles in the AO and the location of their commander. They won't talk unless you persuade them. You can use the methods listed bellow.

- Loud ear piercing screams. This will drive both their minds and ears to the brink of madnes.
- Frequent beatings. Don't hit them too hard, we still need them alive. DON'T hit them on the head, break their fingers, ribs, toes but not their skull.
- Controled drowning. Submerge them in shallow water for 10 seconds and pull them out. If they don't break repeat the process untill you get results.
- Make them fight their own squad/team, only the strongest will survive this war (Don't tell them about the execution part)
- Give them some third degree burns. Molotovs and burning houses are your best bet.
- Make your prisones run into barbed wire/spikes. It won't kill them but it will hurt like hell.
- Any other weird crap you can come up with.
How to avoid capture?
You don't want to fall victim to the same methods you used on your POWs and possibly McNamara's Morons.
- Running faster than a vietnamese child trying to dodge that napalm strike (The hardest one)
- Hiding in the jungle (Ideal for any VC)
- Getting to the EVAC zone (South only)
- Holding your position until lockdown.
Dealing with witnesses
You obviously don't want to get into legal trouble after helping your country win the war. Some soldiers will see your actions as "barbaric" or "monstrous", they may even call you "Mad". You have to remember that they haven't been here long enough to understand that being nice can't win this war. But you have to remember that some will report your actios to the higher ups. You can't let that happen, you will need to terminate them with extreme prejudice.

- Fragging, the most popular way of taking out unskilled officers and troublesome soldiers. In all the confusion no one will know who killed him. Remember to get the veterans on your side before you do it.
- A burst to the back. Remember to use captured enemy weapons, (Type 56, SKS, AKM for the US or M16, 1911, M60 for the NVA) they won't be able to connect you to his death. Just say that Charlie/GI shot the poor bastard.
- Tell him to run straight into a trap, It doesn't matter whether it's a machinegun nest or a punji trap as long as he is dead.
- Naplam/barrage. Every seasoned soldier knows how dangerous these can be. Tell your target to ignore the commander, they're always wrong. This works only on FNGs, other soldiers aren't blind (at lest most aren't)
- Let the VC/GI do your job for you (no need to explain this one)
Dealing with the mental decline
When this war is over we will all go home, some of us will be happy and others will be changed completely. If you followed the steps listed above there is a very big chance that you won't be the same man when you return. You should prepare to be rejected by society for not understanding how wars are really fought. Flashbacks and nightmares are amongst the things you will have to live with.
There are some ways of dealing with such problems.

- Alcohol
- Drugs
- A loaded handgun
- Cyanide
- Giving into the madness, emrace your inner demon. Go to some other war zone and repeat the whole process.
This is the end, beautiful friend
I've got nothing more to say soldier, get out there and make them regret ever being born. As I said before, don't worry about the Geneva suggestion. I heard that colonel Kurtz is looking for soldiers just like you......

Special thanks go to my friends for helping me with the screenshots.

But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die

This is the end [/i]

Very helpful, But I seem to have found myself Court-Martialed. Please make a guide on how to adopt a new identity and flee to Europe.

You should contact the United Nations human rights council, you'll get some money but I doubt they'll do anything else

If you want to be safe then use enemy grenades. Mostly noone will bother to run any tests on the remains of your target

Do you recommend using enemy grenades when fragging my lieutenant or does it not matter?
