Getting Back Your Steam account after Hack
By Adam Jensen 007
Hello,
Hopefully This guide will help those who account has been hacked or will prevent a hack

Important: Do NOT click on any links that say Here is a Free Copy of GTA V. If You did do this, hopefully, you have firewall and immediately contact steam support!

IMPORTANT: The most common way is a suspicious link like it says here is free copy of GTA V but sent by your friend. You don't give out your password nor user name. Even with steamguard on your cellphone if you click on the link, your account gets hacked (again without giving password)

Steps to Take to help you get your account back

Then Email Steam support on The Help Section Contact Steam Support and mention your account was hacked.

Then go to my account......family sharing....contact steam support (This is the fastest way)

Then Click steam support

Ask other friends to do so as well

Note: Steam Support will ask for more information maybe your last key code you activated or what was the last game(s) you activated

Note: Family sharing option is the fastest way to get in contact with steam support

Sorry, I don't to sound like I'm trying to argue, I just find it strange about the specificity of "IMPORTANT: do NOT click links that say Here is a free copy of GTA V" lol. Hope you have a nice day too man

still dont click it... ask them what it is first, if their account has been compromised you should be able to figure out that something is off with their messages
