BF4 Caspian Border

This map needs no introduction....but here it is anyway..BF3/BF4 Caspian Border...

I have done my best to capture what made this map so epic,and have painstakingly tried to recreate it as close to the original as possible.Some screenshots are from previous builds of the map as i want to be able to show the progression of the map from BF3 to BF4 style and from when i started it until i updated it.This is easily one of the most detailed maps on the workshop,but it runs well.I created this map for anyone who had amazing experiences and memories from Battlefield and who like me,is sad to see its demise in recent years.Thank you to SteelRaven who developed Ravenfield,and allows us the ingame editor to recreate our past gaming experiences within his title.



Guys this map took alot of work,researching BF3/BF4 images and jogging my brain for memories of playing here..i hope you like.


A few notes..

I recommend to play on the domination mode,though any mode works fine,Domination is a good choice for maps with lots of flags in order to attract more AI to a few key areas.I always played on point match before,still fun,but since testing domination i wont go back.

best played with around 50 - 64 bots or up to 80 if you can handle it.It a large enough map that you COULD throw 200 there but have a nice day eating rockets.

This map started almost a year ago and it was a BF3 version..when i came back to the editor my green trees had turned autum like brown...if that wasnt a sign from the BF gods to turn this map into BF4 i dont know what is.

This map was created using only vanilla assets,so it runs really well.On an i7 i get 60 FPS with 64 bots playing on high settings.Its compatible with your skin mods and iv not yet ever had a crash on it .Its also extremely well balanced for such a large map.

Finally,enjoy guys...relive those glorious Battlefield 3 or 4 days on this iconic map.I plan to continue updating with tweaks and fine tunings.Suggestions are most welcome

Last but not least,the vehicles and skins used in screenshots are from the amazing Vanilla + pack.
