Westvale
Items Church: Herb, 2 Gold

Task: Talk to Harold, Therese, Marsha and Lucius. Form a party and return to Mayor Hendershot.

Westvale Farm: Talk to Janet to start the first Gathering QuestGathering Herbs”.

Library: Talk to Therese (herbs grow at different places each visit, monsters have rare drops). Matthew will decipher texts for you.

Graveyard: Marsha tells you about hidden doors and gives you 2 Torches (light up only for 3 rooms). You can move one the the stone slaps.
Note Light Effects: by weak Graphic Cards or Performance turn them off in the Options and you won't need to use torches to see.

In the church Lucius recommends to save often. Talk to the priest Hector for a tutorial battle. In the left room you can look at a poster, the other room is locked.
Secrets:
  • Hold action key to skip cut scenes
  • Dark spots indicate herbs locations or hidden doors
  • Sleep at the inn after each floor for extra dreams.
  • Rare monsters drop Essence Shards.
  • As you progress, rare vendors will appear in town. (I have mentioned them in the guide, but except the Bomb and Herb Vendor all appear random.)

Items shop: Talk to Harold (healing potions/tonics and teleportation scrolls) and obtain 3 Tonics and a Teleportation Scroll.

Lab: Dr. Hilden will be enjoyed if you bring him anything of interest.

Armory: Talk to the owner.

Pub: form a party. Have a damage dealer, mage, healer etc. for a balanced party. You can even recruit one of the villagers…
You obtain the Codex.
Talk to the scrawny man to start the “Shrine of Strengthsidequest.
Return to the mayor to obtain 60 Gold and start the next main quest.
Spooky, Scary Skeletons
Westvale
First get starting gear for your avatar.

Margaret the item shop owner starts the Gathering Rolling Bones”.

At the Graveyard at night find the skeleton and obtain the Wife’ Skull. Starts the “Proper Burialsidequest.

At the Library Ned gives you the 1st floor map for free, the next will cost 15 Gold.

Amanda near the armory needs your help for the “Lover’s Giftsidequest. Talk to the pub owner for more details and then search for a bridge in the tower.

After you find the way out of the Crypt you can buy bombs during nights behind the pub. The first one is for free.

Show Matthew the page to start the story questOf God and Men” and later the Book "Darkness".
Don’t forget to finish some quests.

Black Tower 1st floor (ROGUE)

Right in the first room is a hidden door at the westwall. Further west you first need to disable the trap. Then you can gather 2 Gold x2 and a Basinet (heavy helmet).
NW you can reach 2 Gold x2, a lever (disabled the mentioned trap), a Torch to the south (further path is blocked), 5 Gold to the north, 2 Gold and Teleport Scroll.

That scrawny brown sketch leads to the Cavern with 5 Gold x3, 2 Gold x6, Potion, Torch, Teleport Scroll and many herbs. There seems to be a dead end on one map, but check it for a hidden passage!

Grey area to the east shrine: 2 Gold x3, Torch; Light up the other two torches to obtain a Tiger Claw. To open the door you need to go through the cavern. Then you find a Key Fragment but cannot reach the east shrine yet.
Contains 2 Gold, 10 Gold, Essence Shard and Longsword.

West Shrine area: at the middle of the southern wall is a hidden door. Choose how you will act in regard of the sidequest "Shrine of Strength" (using it for you will gain the party leader +1 Strength). Take 2 Gold x2.

Frozen Area: Slide at the correct spots to get the treasures (Key Fragment, 5 Gold).
Contains 5 Gold and you need some kind of block to reach the chest…
Contains a Shrine of Health.

NE prison area: You need a jail key to unlock the cells. Further east is a hidden door with a Teleport Scroll. Further north is another hidden door with more cells.

Proceed to the teleporter by combining the Key Fragments in the menu and then drop down the bridge. Collect the 5 Gold, Herbs and then climb up the vine and step on the last skeleton.

Crypt

NW: 2 Gold
NE: Pull the lever
SW: Hidden door to the west. 5 Gold, 10 Gold, 2 Gold, Monster in a Box reward: Essence Key.
SE: 2 Gold x2
S: Get the Torch and use the campfire. To the east is a hidden path to a Teleportation Scroll, 10 Gold and Ear Warmers (cloth head).

S: Take the 2 Gold and herbs. To the west is a secret passage with 20 Gold.
SW: Take 2x West turns to reach 5 Gold. The other path leads to some herbs. Don’t forget to gather 2 Gold and pull the lever to create a shortcut to the entrance of the tower.

SE: Fully to the east are 2 secret passages: one to 2 Gold, an Essence Crystal (you need an Essence Flask) and the missing Chad ("Lovers Gift" sidequest). I recommend playing with his scheme. Choose if Chad should return. The other secret passage leads you to 20 Gold under a grave, some monsters, herbs. Follow the normal path now.

Try to enter the graveyard and defeat the Gargoyles. Reflect will effect Sing!

Move the graves to find monsters, a Potion, 5 Gold.
In the next room you find 10 Gold in the empty coffin.
At the cross-shaped grave you can bury the Wife’s Skull ("Proper Burial" sidequest).
Before you search for the stairs, go further north to gather a Torch.
Downstairs you find 2 Gold x2 and a path to the next destination.
The other graves still contain Herbs, Teleport Scroll, other stairs with an Agility Shrine and “Of Gods and Men – Page 1”.

Investigate the Angel Grave: Boss Skeletal Drake: AoE Healing and Regeneration is the key to defeat such a strong enemy. Get all buffs or debuffs working to make it easier. Immune to standard poison. Drops Teleport Scroll, Essence Shard and Skeletal Garb.

Use the campfire and enter the last crypt to find the Book "Darkness of the Human Soul".
Destroy the crystal...

Boss Lich: Summons some minions. Take care of all Minions and the boss. Use a similar strategy as for the Drake. During the battle your avatar learns "Dispel Miasma". Drops Black Robe, Lifepowder, Essence Shard.

You return to the mayor automatically.
Rest in the inn.
On Love and Friendship
Westvale
Head to the mayor and then talk to Riko.
You obtain Jonar's Wand.
Upgrade your gear at the armory.

At the pub read first the notice and then talk to Natalya to start the "Clumy Thief" sidequest.
Try to talk to Jondar in the church.
Get the Floor 2 Map from Ned in the Library.
Janet starts the next Gathering "We need more Herbs" and gives you Janet's List.
At the Exit Pascal starts the "Monster Infection" Gathering.

Black Tower Floor 1
Go straight north to find the kids.
Enter the prison and talk to the NPC in the northern cell.

Boss Angoma the Clumsy Thief: Poison him with standard poison and blind him. Then he shouldn't be a problem. Drops the Heirloom.
Choose if you take him to Westvale or let him go. Let him go to obtain the Jail Key.

Pilfer the prison cells (Jail Key needed): 5 Gold x3

Angoma tells you of a secret passage in the last cell.
To the east you will find "Of Gods and Men" Page 2.
To the west you will reach the teleporter.

Black Tower Floor 2: GROTTO

Items: 2 Gold x4, Black Robe, Torch x2, Power Brace (waterfall), "Of Gods and Men" page 3 (waterfall), 10 Gold

You notice a cave under the waterfall but don't know how to get in there yet.
To the east the boulders to reach a Potion and a Shrine of Wisdom.

To the west and then south push the boulder through the hole (save prior to not get stuck).
If you return now to the ice cavern of floor 1 you can reach the Essence Flask.

Following the map, get full western turn of this floor.
Save before you try to reach the 3 levers. Pulling the middle will initiate a battle. The left one unlocks a door, and the right one affects the waterfall. Leave this room to the NE
to reach the Fingerless Gloves and another lever you need to pull to lower the watertraps. From there head east, go through the door and the next one.

At the Center you will meet the kids again.

Items: 2 Gold, 5 Gold
First enter to the north and step on the switches to reach the 2 Gold.
Get out again and this time go west and find a hidden path at the north to reach the Cutlass.
Now enter the west, step on the switch and get the 2 Gold. Cross and step on the next 2 switches to gather another 2 Gold. Push the boulder and leave to the east.
Enter from the south and then gather 2 Gold x2, 5 Gold and a Teleport Scroll.
The bridge to the east is out, so go west. Cross this cave to reach the Torch.

Boss ???: Bolster your defenses and then run!
Gather the Gold on your run.

Boss Void Beast: Dispel Miasma and then cast your buffs/debuffs. You can only hit the boss when you can see it. Drops Infected Monster Sample, Lifepowder and Essence Shard.

You obtain the Book of Morgoth and return to Westvale.
Finding the Source - Floor 3
Westvale
Finish your quests.

The armory has new stock.
When talk to the Doc you start the "Plant Infection" Gathering.

Show Matthew the new pages and books.
Talk to Ned to start he "Dank... Meme?" sidequest. In the Church you find the Picture of a Frog. Return it to Ned to obtain the Floor 3 Map, but the quest is still not finished. You won't get a map for the next 3 floors.

At the Pub read the notice to start the "Assassination Contract" classquest.
The Bomb Vendor has bigger Bombs in stock.

Rest in the Inn to dream again.

After you reach floor 4, a jester appears in town during nights (and more NPC in the pub).
When you finish the Gathering "Plant Infection", your avatar learns Cure Miasma. At the same time the Gathering "Machine Infection" starts.
Show Matthew the 4th page.

At the pub read the notice to start the Classquest "Calling all Brewmasters". Once you have collected all 15 Hibiscus, use the Brewmaster's Note in the inventory to finish the quest.
You obtain the Flower Bundle and Abuella's Health, Spirit and Wisdom increases by 1.

Gaston the Bomb Vendor gives you a free Bomb and starts the Gathering "The Smell of Firepowder".
In front of the Library you can buy trinkets
Resting in the Inn will offer a new dream.

During the day, enter the armory to witness a scene.

Black Tower Floor 3: FOREST
The bridge of Floor 1 has been repaired, so head to the next teleporters.
That map won't tell you much.
This should be better:
This map is looping from top to bottom.

After the teleporter you can either go south or north.
South: You can either go east or further south.
S+S : Climb down the vine and reach the Shrine of Health.
S+E: Climb down the vine
Containing "Of Gods and Men" Page 4 and the Assassin (Classquest).

Boss Assassin: Buffing and debuffing is the key to defeat her.
Anonymous' Strength, Speed and Luck increased by 1 and received Assassin Dagger.

From the surface pilfer the remaining maps for herbs, then head to the E-S-W until you reach a vine at a long dead end. At the end of that tunnel are 40 G.

To the far NE you can find a chest with various herbs.
The vine north of the Shrine of Health (or west of the campfire) will lead to a Purity Crystal (you need a Essence Flask).
The vine to the SW will lead to an Essence Shard.
The vine in the southern center will lead to the Forest-North.

Boss Vera: She erases your TP at the first turn. Bolster all buffs and debuffs up and heal Leech and Poison asap. Vera has a skill that will kill the target after 2 turns.
If you manage to defeat Vera without hitting the Nymphs, you obtain an Essence Shard and Blight Ward.

As Mari won't let you take the east path, go west.
Finding the Source - Floor 4
Black Tower Floor 4: TEMPLE
Right at the start you notice dragon statues missing an eye.
West room: Talk to the "guests" and cook.
Take the Orb and go east to take another Orb. But the keeper is not amused.
Use the Orbs at the dragon statues to reveal stairs.

Items: 2 Gold x5, Essence Shard, Turtle Fist, Teleport Scroll, Torch, 5 Gold

Hit the buttons to disable the fire and find the Shrine of Armor.
One the next map is a campfire.

One the next map talk to the ghost to start the story quest "Golden Essence".
  • One Essence Key is hidden in the Crypt.
  • Another is nearer than you think but you need help from a friend to find it.
  • The last is living among the stars.

Note: The story quests effect the True Ending! You have to finish both to obtain it.

Step on the blue teleporter to get transported to the Essence Crystal of Floor 1. Pull the lever and you have a nice shortcut to the "Golden Essence Room".

Go downstairs and prepare to be amushed by Eldritch Slimes between the statues. Cast Dispel Miasma for those fights.

Step first on the right arrow and then on the arrow next of the stairs to hit the wall. Go upstairs.
Walk to the arrow below the NW stopper.
Avoid the arrows to reach the Essence Shard and next stairs.
Now those arrows are much faster. They won't sent you away as long as you stand still.
Watch your timing to reach the next stairs.

On the next map are Gazers attacking between the statues and a hidden passage to the west.
At the end of the hidden passage is the "Of Gods and Men" Page 5.

Black Tower Floor 5
Save at the campfire.

Boss Chess Pieces: Again cast your buffs and debuffs. Defeat the Bishop (healer) first. The Pawns will kill a character when defeated. The queen will cast reflect and dispel - so watch out. The Tower will stun the party for the current turn when defeated. When defeated the Queen will cast a defensive spell - all remaining pieces will take the damage meant for the king.

Reach the next floor but return to Westvale via Teleport Scroll.

Westvale
Near the armory you can buy better gear during day.

In the Church talk to Darrick to start the Classquest "The Knight's Code".

Boss Darrick, Leonard and Lissandra: Figure out their skills and start buffing/debuffing. Standard Poison will be very effective.
The Knights health, armor and wisdom increases by 1 and you obtain the Save the Queen.

Angoma will wait for you near the pub ,when you have let him go during your first meeting, to start the sidequest "Angoma needs Help!". Find him on the 4th floor, south of the Golden Essence Room.

In the pub have a chat with Keller to start the sidequest "the Neutralizer".

Enter the item shop to witness a scene. Mathilda will sell you basic herbs and the vendor has new potions in stock.

Angomas Riddle on Floor 4
This shows you the solution and the shortcut to skip the other riddles.
Take the Essence Key and talk to Angoma. Use the Key at one of the Statues of the Golden Essence Room.

Back in Westvale talk to Angoma again and then to Natalya and again to Angoma. That will conclude the sidequest "The Clums(ier) Thief".

Rest for another memory.
Finding the Source - Floor 6
Black Tower Floor 6: Halonia
Yeah, the correct name is Halonia - they are proud of the "i".
The soldier at the entrance blocks a path.

In the church, ask the little boy about his nightmare to start the sidequest "A Lost Toy".
You need to donate 100 Gold to pray at the Shrine of Spirit.

You can shop at the shopping district.
In the Inn you can find Elixir and Bread.

On the Courtyard, a old woman starts the sidequest "A Souvenir". Buy one Kombucha in Westvale.
Talk to Morgoth and he tells you where the next teleporter is hidden.

Your answer doesn't matter if you have told the citzens the truth.
Defeat the Guards. Buffing and debuffing as well as Standard Poison/Sleep is the best tactic.

Note: The Sharpshooters and Snipers drop Firepowder.

You are thrown out - but the guard blocking the path to the east is gone.
Climb down the vine.

Halonia Underground
Items: 5 Gold x4, 2 Gold x5, Enormous Ham (Horn), Teleport Scroll, 10 Gold, Spirit Claw, Torch

Riddle: all buttons have to be down. Try to make the middle row down, then step on the middle of the remaining rows.
Climb up the western vine to reach "Of Gods and Men" Page 6.
Go first to the NW to reach the Teddy Bear and 20 Gold.

East of the 2nd campfire you reach the courtyard.
But enter the door first to reach a Teleport Scroll, Essence Shard, Essence Flask and a Purity Crystal.

Fight your way to the throne room but first get the Apothecary Knife and bring the kid his teddy to obtain the Enchanted Pendant. You can even rest at the inn.

Boss Vera: She erases your TP the 1st turn and gets stronger with each Growth. Mass Consuming will heal her greatly. Cast Dispel Miasma and start buffing/debuffing as soons as you can. Drops an Essence Shard.
The Black Tower - Floor 7
Black Tower Floor 6: Halonia
The King wants you to aid 3 citizens before you can use the teleporter.

Talk to Morgoth.
A Guard want to have a sparring match. Defeat the Elite Guards.

Enter the Library talk to the librarian and pick up the Books "Annie and the Bear", "Dunking with Darius", "Overpowered" and "Warding 101". Put them to the right bookshelves to obtain the Book "Theory of Numbers".
That was the last possible deed.

The left teleporter is not working - you will need a something to repair it.

Westvale
Finish open quests.

A rare vendor might appears at the gate, selling Essence Shards. Or the Blacksmith will appear at the armory.
Show Matthew the new pages and the Book.
Talk to the Mayor.

Rest at the Inn to have another dream.
When leaving you will trigger a scene and it is dark?

Black Tower Floor 7: TECH
Floor 1:
At the boy's WC you will find a Teleport Scroll.
In one of the Girl's WC you will find a code: "47586"

At the next map is a campfire and a Captain's Log. That starts the story quest "Messages".
In this room is a lift with another Captain's Log - but wait until you use the lift.

To the west you can shop at the Vending Maschine.
To the east find the Maschine Sample, 5 Gold, Essence Shard (one-armed Bandit) and a Item and Gun vending maschine.

Note: some monsters drop Stun Batons, which generates electricity. Another monster drops a sword with a nice skill.

Floor 2:
Enter the passcode near the laser.
Read the Captain's Log and take the 2 Gold.
Read the next Captain's Log.
Office: Captain's Log and a locked trunk.
Storage: Stun Baton, 30 Gold, Machine Sample, 2 Gold and a hint where to find the code for the trunk.
Clone Storage & Observation: Repair the pipes and then read the next Captain's Log, take the Pipe. For the last room you need another code. The Code is hidden in the tubes: "947116". That opens GATE 3.
South Room: Take the Maschine Sample, repair the pipes and then get the Essence Shard.

Floor 3:
Read the next Captain's Log and go further.
Read the next Captain's Log (old code: 84179 - new code: 97148). Take the Maschine Sample, 2 Gold and go further.
Read the Captain's Log and repair the pipes (you need the spare pipe from floor 2).
Read the Captain's Log and the note next to the glitter ("42"). Enter that code or battle the Clockwork-Drake to open GATE 2.

Boss Clockwork-Drake: Weak to spirit based attacks/sing. Drops an Essence Shard.

Return to the lift but it breaks.
Climb up and save/heal at the fire.
In the hole you find 2 Gold, 10 Gold and "Of Gods and Men" Page 7.
Use a Bomb right next to the stairs to obtain 2 Gold and Broken Shrine Core.
Combine the Broken Shrine Core with a Shrine Core Shard and Shrine Core Fragment (can be dropped) and the entire party gains 1 Health.

Climb further up and gather 2 Gold x2 and read 2x Captain's Log. Step on the button.

Boss Dracozord: Acts 3-4 times per turn. Bolster up your buffs/debuffs and hit it with your best. skills. Defeat it before the countdown reaches 0. Drops an Essence Shard.

GATE 1 is open.

Floor 2:
Open the trunk to obtain the "Floor 1 Map ?".

Floor 4:
Take the 2 Gold and then return to Westvale.

Westvale
In the pub listen to the guests about Tiamat and talk to Lioki to do the Classquest "The Raging Voljang".

Boss Voljang: Time to get zapped. Break its buffs with the Knight when it got enraged. Summons a strong AoE when defeated, so be prepared.

Talk to Lioki to get the Well-Done Steak, Enormous Ham (Tiffany's Strength, Spirit and Wisdom +1) and return to Westvale

Show Matthew the new page and Ned the strange Map.
Talk to Dr. Hilden to complete his gatherings.

Rest at the inn to have a new dream.

Black Tower Floor 1
Items: Lavascale Garb, Various Herbs, 20 Gold x3,

In the Magma-Cavern avoid walking on the hurting tiles. The monsters are really powerful and drop the Lavascale Helm.
Open the golden chest...

Boss Tiamat: Disarm, Def Down, Wound are debuffs that work. You have to defeat him trice (each head). Each head can attack once per round. But save you single use skills for the last head! Then he will attack with Meteor, doing massive damage and starts a deathly countdown on the party. Now all single use skills preventing death are recommended when the timing is matched or you will loose. Drops 3000 EXP, 200 Gold and Ragnarok (best sword).


Black Tower Floor 7
Follow Ned to Floor 2 into the office. Talk to him to open GATE 4.

Floor 4:
Read the last Captain's Log at the left screen and your Avatar learns Absorb Miasma.
Step on the teleporter.
The Black Tower - Floor 8
Westvale
Talk to Ned.

Black Tower Floor 8: STARS
Items: 2 Gold x2, 10 Gold, 20 Gold, Silk Hat

Note: The Clippers have a deadly skill and drop the Scorpion Venom.

Riddle 1: Walk only on solid ground.
Riddle 2: talk to the ghost for explanation and get the Torch.
Riddle 3: Get the Essence Shard.

Labyrinth 1:
S: Teleport Scroll
WS: Next teleporter to the campfire.

Riddle 4: Step on all buttons in time and then get the Silk Dress.
Drain the Energy Crystal (Essence Flask needed).
To the north of the Energy Crystal is a Shrine of Strength. To progress go east.

Riddle 5: Step on each tile to get the Power Brace Ultra.
Riddle 6: Walk only on solid ground to get the Giant Harmonica.
Riddle 7: Get the "Of Gods and Men" Page 8 to receive Blessed Holy Band.

Labyrinth 2: Only one path leads to the Ogre Club and the next teleporter.

Items: 2 Gold x2, 20 Gold, Teleport Scroll

Riddle 8: Step on all buttons in time to get an Essence Shard.

Campfire.

Before you step on the next teleporter, get the Essence Key.
The Black Tower - Floor 9
Westvale
Talk to Ned to get the Floor 9 Map.
Talk to the new guest in the pub to hear about Strife.
Rest in the Inn for another dream.
At the Doctor's you can find a screen which is the 14. Captain's Log from Floor 8.

At night the Jester will sell you a Clown Suit.

Hektor starts the sidequest "Major League Ghosting".
Enter the Crypt (the former locked door in the church):
Items: 20 Gold x7, 2 Gold x3, 5 Gold, Lifepowder

Tell the Ghost you aren't scared for a better dialogue.
Talk to Hektor to get your reward.

Black Tower Floor 1: Rouge
In the prison talk to Angoma.

Boss Angoma: This time he uses Standard Poison and Poison Bomb and can act up to 3 times.
Drops 1000 EXP and Lucky Pin.

Black Tower Floor 4: Temple
Use the Essence Keys to open the Golden Essence Room.
Take the Essence Flask and use Energy Essence at the red empty crystal, the Purity Essence at the green empty crystal, and the Health Essence at the blue empty crystal to recharge them. Now you can fill your flask at them.
Touch the Golden Crystal to obtain Mari's Golden Essence and you can fill your flasks with Golden Essence.

Black Tower Floor 6: Halonia
Boss Strife: In the 1st round the party is afflicted by despair, preventing all healing, and stripped of their TP. Nevertheless cast HP-Regen! Poison Strife and try to cast other debuffs. Revive asap and be glad Strife won't use Despair again. Drops Cull.

The Black Tower Floor 9: HELLGATE

Note: Possible monster drops: Power Brace Ultra, Fist of the North Star, Excalipur, Dragon Spike, Scythe of Terror. Marsipual Axe, Titan Brace
Note: You will encounter Dragons here - remember that you need their tail. And beware of the DEATH.

Take the 2 Gold and proceed. You can turn to the east, south and west.
East: Avoid the traps to reach 1 Gold. Go back a bit until the chest closes again and then you can find the Savage Spirit Claw.
South: you are thrown back into the poisonous pond and a ghost giving a nice hint appears.
West: Careful, there are traps everywhere. Best go over the first, below the second and over the third column.

Take the 2 Gold and use 4 Bombs. There are 6 paths to take:
First enter the NE to reach the chest with the Cursed Skull Band.
Next pull the lever to the NW to fixate the trap infront of that chest.
At the N is a ladder. At the end of that ladder you can move the west blockade. Go east from there to encounter a merchant which sells Ribbons and other nice accessories. To the west you can move the same blockade to reach the next ladder. Down there is the Shrine of Death (don't use it) but there is a hidden passage at the foot of the ladder to the Shrine of Armor. If you go up there you can find another ladder hidden at the west wall as well as a teleporter back to the entrance. Down that ladder is another fake teleporter, beaming you into the top right corner of the entrance. Return to the surface... and take the southern route now.

SW: 20 Gold, 5 Gold
SE: Teleport Scroll
S: campfire and further south into the maze.

Head west, south, east until you reach a button. From there go east to reach the Mimic which likes to eat your party members. Revive them asap and then get the Hemorrhage Blade. The Ghost tells you the correct path through this maze.
Head west, south, east until you reach a button. From there go south to reach the next campfire and another button.

Now you have the choice of stairs up or east (on the map that should be the part with the big "?")
First climb the stairs to create a shortcut to the entrance (better to the southern part of the bomb room). That is a great opportunity to return to Westvale finishing Keller's quest.

The blue star marks the transferpoint back to the campfire.
Items on this map: 10 Gold
You somehow can trust the ghost telling you the exit is below him.
If you go south from that transfer point, you can gather 10 Gold and 2 Gold x2 until you see Vera (further north are 6 chests).
If you go north from that transfer point, you can reach the herb without hurting you but when you try to reach the east exit you will hurt.
Chest 1 (NW): Poison trap
Chest 2 (N): Mimic and other monsters
Chest 3 (NE): Brute Strength Brace
Chest 4 (SE): Poison trap
Chest 5 (S): Empty
Chest 6 (SW): 100 Gold

Talk to Vera and then proceed. Gather 5 Gold and go east to find the Executioner.
Futher south you find another hidden passage to the east. There you might encounter the Innocent Flower for the first time (only when the corridor is dark red). If you manage to beat this Flower and survive the battle, you will earn many EXP. Your best bet is to hit it with Shield Bash before it uses its pollen and Divine Protection will help you survive.

Proceed and gather the 2 Gold. Right east of them is another hidden passage, that leads to 10 Gold and further ahead watch out for some marks on the ground and then go south (ignore the wall further west). This leads directly to the last campfire and a Torch.
When following the normal path, you will reach a Teleport Scroll and the Orichalcum.

Boss Heroes of Westvale: Bolster your defenses. Defeat the Lucius and Marsha first, as they are the healers. Dispel possible buffs with break. Poison Bomb + other Poison is really effective. When you defeat a hero, listen to their last words.
Harold had told you about another portal in the direction you came from.
Endgame
Black Tower Floor 9: HELLGATE
Return to the big looping map. The teleporter is at the stone tile.

Black Tower Floor 10: END
Press forward and pass 2 campfires.

Frozen Room: Netherweave Dress, Netherweave Hat

Crypt Room: Touch the crystal and defeat the Lich with its minions. Careful, this group of enemies is tough. Protection against Miasma is mandatory. It's getting easier once the minons are defeated. Take the Excalibur and press forward.

Pass the 3rd campfire.

Grotto Room: Step on all buttons until you can step on the first again. Get the Scope Hat and step on the button next to it. Get the Wyrmhide and leave the room to the north.

Boss 2 Void Beasts: Remember that you can only hit them when they are visible. They will focus on isolated party members. Decreasing the enemies defense is the best option here.
Take the Megaphone and proceed.

Pass the 4th campfire.

Arrow Room: Emperor Crown, Emperor Jacket

Shrine Platform: Boss Chess Pieces: Defeat the Bishops (healer) first. The Pawns will kill a character when defeated. The queen will cast reflect and dispel - so watch out. The Tower will stun the party for the current turn when defeated. When defeated the Queen will cast a defensive spell - all remaining pieces will take the damage meant for the king.
Take the Godhand and use the teleporter.

Pass the 5th campfire.

Pipe Room: repair the pipes so that the blue boxes are lighting to obtain the SCAR Riffle, XM9000 and Desert Eagle. Repair the left pipes to proceed.

Boss Dracozord: Starts with erasing your TP. The tactic hasn't changed. Defeat him before the countdown reaches 0.

Investigate the defect teleporter, take the Teleport Scroll and return to Westvale.

Westvale
Talk to Sera near the armory at daytime to obtain the Warp Stone. For this sidequest return to
Black Tower Floor 6: HALONIA
Use the Warp Stone at the inactive teleporter and use it.

Black Tower Floor 10: END
Star Room: POINT OF NO RETURN. The party will be fully healed. Save on an different slot.

Boss Vera: Her first turn is Miasma and she will loose 100 HP each turn. Bolster your defenses.
Vera will eat a character near death. Revive asap (if you have just a split potion in petto, that character might survive).

Note: Depending on if you have finished the "Golden Essense" story quest, the next scene might vary. Choose it you revive Vera for the better ending or not.

You are fully healed.
Proceed to the last campfire and get the large bundle of Herbs.

Boss Morgoth: He starts the battle with reflect. Focus on physical attacks during this phase. Next he cast Counter - now focus on magical attacks like Sing, Bombs and Sheen. Depending on your finished quests you will witness different dialogues. Once he returns to the Reflect Stance he casts Meteor. Revive asap.

Boss Morgoth Cursed: No more stances, but miasma when hit. One skill will deplete the TP/notes of 2 random characters. You can use Keller's Neutralizer in this battle.

Proceed and destroy the Black Crystal.

If you have finished the story quest "Of Gods and Men" the epilogue is changed.

Hi Firefly,

You wrote and excellent guide, which I am following closely.

From your guide, II just fought the Innocent flower in Black Tower floor 9. Next, I am trying to get inside the enclosed space where the last campfire & torch is located. I am on the screen that can see the last campfire & torch, but the whole area is enclosed and I cannot find any hidden walls to get inside.

I have not fight the Boss Heroes of Westvale yet in your guide because I cannot find them too.
