I am creating a guide for the active SHiFT codes in Borderlands 2 as an alternative to my pinned forum post.

Hello!
I decided I'm going to keep a guide and a forum post updated instead of just this post. I will update both as I get the codes.

Where do I enter these codes?!

In order to redeem these codes you MUST have a SHiFT account within BL2. Note: you must also have BL2 to make an account and redeem the keys.

Loot the World App

Head on over to the Loot the World[www.gearboxsoftware.com] and download the app to your iPhone or Android and scan barcodes in real life with a chance to get keys.
The only downside is you're not garentied Keys, but you'll always get "something".
Also, you can only send 3 items a day.
This place has some barcodes for scan[orcz.com] (Thanks TacoFox)

Note to the 255 key limit

You should no longer reset to 0 keys if you exceed 255 keys. Now it will just stay at 255 keys even if you pass it.
~UPDATE~
If you have 253 keys and redeem a code for 3 keys it will show you have 253 keys but you'll actually have 256 keys.

This is a big community project, I don't personally find the codes. These codes are from the users (you) who let me know there is a new code in the wild. All I do is post them in one place for people to find them.

How to submit a NEW key:
Either post them as a comment on this guide OR in the comments here.

How to submit a DEAD key:
Same as above, I will put "(dead?)" next to a key that has been reported dead. After a confirmation is posted I will remove it.

so if i still claim the key in the game, it will not lose due to reach the limit, 255 key for each BL? otherwise, the game should prevent ppl to activate the key if they reach the limit

Everything I tried from "5TC3J-H93F3-3FJXC-JBTJJ-HRXJ6" down did not work.. Granted I didn't try ALL of them, but about 10 down from that one and the bottom 3 didn't work, and it takes forever for the game to tell me they've expired after I've entered each one so after about 20mins of trying dead codes I gave up. This site seems to be a lot more accurate as to which codes are currently working (just make sure to check the dates because they're about a week behind changing codes to "expired" once the date passes): http://orcz.com/Borderlands_2:_Golden_Key#Bookmark_Here
