I'm not exaggerating at all, that creature is scary even when you know exactly where it is! Hearing it splashing in the water with no clue where it was was absolutely terrifying, then to have it run across my screen less than a meter from me when I reached the shore... C'mon people, I can't recommend this game enough yet there are still only two people in my friends list who own it - neither of whom I know personally!

I had one of *those* moments in this playthrough - I came across a body of water in the middle of the night when everything was pitch black. I *knew* that a rather important plant was only to be found in the deepest part. In my weakened state I risked drowning, but the plant was my only hope, so I used the light from a burning branch to scout for the best place to dive in. When I was satisfied, I tossed the branch aside and lept into the water, only to notice my heart started beating rather loudly when I suddenly heard...

GRRROWL!!

Oh God No! The creature is here! But where? I have no light, I cannot see! There, there's the plant, I grabbed the plant. Quick! Head for the shore! My heart is racing, the shore is so far away. It's too far, I'm not sure if I can make it - my head goes under and I get a mouth full of water, I dropped the plant! No time, find the shore! Where's the creature? I cannot see it, but there's the shore! Quick, climb out! OH GOD IT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!
