Lucid's AtlasV1.084FS

Description
provinces: 154 land and 29 sea

Open this ancient grimoire and travel where your feet can not take you...
Made for 12 (10 land and 2 underwater) players. Fixed start locations.
Not wrap around. 'Corners' of the map aren't true corners though since they can be reached via the teleporting candle system on the map. Each small candle connects to a large candle and each large candle connects to every other large candle. Each large candle is gaurded by level 1 throne quality armies. Many flavor easter eggs from the Dominions community. The book 'cave' system also provides a quick way to traverse the large map. There are also two maelstroms on the map that connect the two oceans.
Setup for 13 good throne locations, more can be added though they will spawn randomly. (Good throne settings for a 12 player game are often 13 lvl 2 thrones with ~5-7 thrones to win)

Filenames of .map file update with each change. Filenames of image files update only when the image file is updated - at which point it updates to the new .map version number.

I remember there was a game over 20 years ago that would open a book and the map would come up from it and you'd head in, man the nostalgia hit you gave with this is real

I didn’t see this map before, it’s totally awesome, Pymous’s vibe but different.

In region 135 is a small candle but the link to the big candle is missing.

The map generated with 2 copies of Perun's peak, a throne prov. They are identical and both spawned a unit type no named size 2 undead flying titans with 10 hop and useless kick

Alright- answering my own questions now, hoping that if anyone else has the same problem, I can help them out.

Using my computer's search feature, I typed in Lucid and waited to see what would pop up. (I'm running Win7, by the way) I found some files. They were in this folder for me:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\722060\1813991113\Older stuff

In there were older versions of the LucidAtlas. The version I needed was zipped, though some of them seemed to be in non-zipped states. I wasn't sure what I needed to copy, so I looked at a few other saved games. I noticed that there should be three files for maps attached to any games where the map isn't in the typical location. The one file will be a .map, and two of them will be art files, like .tga or .rgb. So I grabbed the three lucidatlas files and manually added them to my saved game folder, and now that game loads.

OK- I'm starting to understand the problem. The game is looking for the LucidAtlas files as they were named before you updated your map version. The new version has a new file name, so the game doesn't understand. Ummm... so is there anyway I can download the old version of LucidAtlas? Or a way to to take the new file and just rename it? I don't know what would work, and honestly- I can't find where Steam/Dom hides the map files that I've downloaded from the workshop in order to experiment more on my own.

I'm new to Dom5 and just starting to use maps off the workshop. My current game stopped working after the most recent patch, popping up an error message whenever I try and load it. I can't read the error, as it's in another language, but it includes the map title in the message. Any chance this map needs to be updated to reflect the new patch in some way? And is that a normal thing after updates? I'm just trying to figure out what's wrong and anticipate if this is a process that happens after every update.
