My tune has changed on corpsebloom slightly. With the changes to other healing items, and in a multiplayer environment, it has some actually good uses to keep you alive. In general though, and on most characters it'll give you an early game healing spike, but fall off late game. Though if you're speedrunning levels you usually don't need healing. So to the very best players its not useful, and to the very worst players, its deceptive its overall power.

Gesture of the Drowned is probably the most reliable Lunar equip, unless you use it with The Crowdfunder (where did all my money go?) or the Glowing Meteorite (endless torment), while Shaped Glass turns out to be the ultimate item when you stack more than 3 or 4 of them thanks to One Shot Protection. I rarely do this because I, 1) am not good enough to last that long with only one or two shaped glasses, and 2) I don't savestate edit my lunar coins, but when I do end up using the Shaped Glass strat, it gets ridiculous. Of course, they may nerf Shaped Glass by reducing your healing AS WELL AS your health by the next update, in which case it won't be so broken when you're using large stacks of it.

If you're not a potato, you can use the Effigy of Grief pretty effectively.

Truth be told, I find myself using Corpsebloom quite a bit.

literally corpsebloom might be the only lunar item that isnt complete shit exept for shaped glass but the other stuff is just a complete waste of your coins

It's Brittle Crown that are here to waste Lunar Coins, not Corpsebloom.
Try swimming in a Bustling Fungus field with Corpsebloom on you, it may be a life saver.

It's pretty good with rejuvenation rack, cause of interesting calculation.
