Well, I went on to beat him with a combination of running like a lunatic and deflecting xD Now just Madame Butterfly to worry about ¬_¬;

I did that tactic just before I recorded this, and it didn't really work out that well for me lol

Y'know, I didn't even think of trying to parry him... guess that will help getting the second stab in xD I just sprinted like a mad man and acted like I was trying to grab the horses tail. Seemed to work alright, but I still need to beat him.

Haha, on my second or third try this morning I actually beat him! Just focused on parrying 80% of the time and attacking only if I caught him in a bad spot (for him)... and the one attempt all the pieces just kinda fell into place.

I think he's the first actual "story" boss(figures, right?) This game favors a more aggressive playstyle just like Bloodborne, considering you want as much posture damage ASAP. Just keep trying! 😁

You give me hope that this boss is possible. He's one of the ones I'm stuck on. I keep thinking there's some trick to these but I guess I just need to get better at parrying.
