As the title says this is for Nvidia users, there are some serious issues present here that people are unaware of how to fix.

This game uses a lot of video memory and just freeing up physx will make the game much better. My game is always using 7.5+/8GB of video memory with out physx

First you have to go in to the nvidia control panel go in to the configure surround and Physx tab and simply change the default setting from GPU to CPU. UE4 does not use GPU acceleration for PhysX. Per forum moderator unrealengine.com





Second... TURN TEXTURE STREAMING OFF, off is actually the highest setting. If you actually read the description High is limiting textures to 1gb off is unrestricted. Also set all shadows to low to gain 30+ fps.
*Only for video cards 8GBVRAM and above*

Another big help is manual fan control for your GPU. I use MSI afterburner beta to set manual fan speed control to 100%, Standard version does not work. It is also a good idea to run CPU and case fans at 100% and make sure your case airflow is set up properly.
AND MAGIC!!!! +60 FPS

OTHER NOTES: I have found this game performs terribly with XAMP overclock profiles of RAM and CPU regardless of issues with other apps. I have to go lower for this game than all my other games to be able to play with out crashing.

how does changing physx to cpu change anything if it's only used for vehicles. which most of the time aren't there

This technique is now part of all troubleshooting with games now. Like the clip shows the game engine uses the cpu for psyx. The wrong setting is causing the problem.

i was skeptical it would even work. tried so many settings. :mylove: it did not made any sense not to use the gpu, it bugged my brain. im using everything on max and it works . doesnt stutter like it used to

Fps gains aren't linear. You have a very powerful system meaning that your reported fps gains are likely a lot larger than what 90% of the people reading this guide will get.

Also, where does this performance come from? It would be nice to know the performance increase as percentages at each step respectively.
Turning fan speeds up only helps if your gpu/system has thermal problems, factor in the fact that you have to bear with the obnoxious noise that maxed out fans have.
