Welp, some of my friends either just got Skyrim, or reinstalled, so... I think it's time I share all the stuff I use to make my Skyrim look delicious. Yes, everything. SO, having said that, I'm going to list every single mod I use, followed by links. Quick note before we start, with BOTH Skyrim Nexus mods AND Skyrim Steam Workshop mods, please be sure to read the descriptions FULLY, as some will conflict with others, and some mods require other mods to work. To install Steam Workshop mods, simply click ''Subscribe'' and the next time you load Skyrim, the launcher will check and download your subscribed items.

And please, let me know if any links direct you to an incorrect mod, or are dead.

Introduction



So, Skyrim... it's a beautiful thing. The Elder Scrolls series itself is a beautiful thing, actually. But how do we make something already so awesome, even more awesome? Mods, of course! This is one thing that has always been a great thing about PC gaming and the Elder Scrolls franchise. Taking a game and making it your own is so rewarding in the end, it's hard not to do it with games like the TES games, right? Right!

So, just a quick intro, nothing too special. I'll be listing all the mods I run, and where to get 'em! Sure, there are other people out there with greater looking setups than mine, but I feel mine looks pretty enough, so I'm sharing the wealth with my fellow gamers and TES fans alike. Hopefully you can find some mods that help bring out more in your game than you've already seen. The guide consists of a mixture of mods from the Skyrim Nexus and from right here on Steam's own Workshop. Due to Steam linking outside sources as normal links and Workshop files with preview images, I will list all non-Workshop mods FIRST, and then Workshop mods, within the lists that follow.

I HIGHLY suggest you install the Nexus Mod Manager if you want to pull less hair out and enjoy your mods faster. Also, when installing a ''series'' of mods (i.e. Skyrim HD) select ''No'' to every prompt asking you to overwrite.

I also HIGHLY suggest you let Skyrim's launcher verify each Workshop mod every time you start Skyrim, just to be safe, ESPECIALLY when you subscribe to NEW Workshop mods.

I gotta say, there "series" are awesome. But as long as I have my shitty AMD Radeon HD I won't be able to normally play all of them.

Nice guide, might want to look at the book of silence mod for weapon/armor retexture mods

I have a mid tier laptop, and I have to play at lowest settings. I am absolutely amazed that this did not affect my performance, did you customly pick these so they wouldn't? Great job man, great job.
