This game is more a survival strategy game than a raw shooter, you will need too manage your inventory and make every bullet count, for if you do not... well my friend... you are in for a long and hard time.

This game is unlike anythiing else you will play, it is full of surpises and horrer filles moments, like seeing a survivor, then coming back later and finding them dead on the ground, or seeing blood splattered over the floor and wondering what happened here... the music also makes it that much more frightening.

One of the key mechanics of this game is resource management, rescorces. unlike most other games, cannot be easily found, the fog makes it far harder too find them, and when you do, your going too want too use them wisely!

here are some tips:

1. If you dont really need too use it, dont!
2. Medpacks and meat are rare! dont use them unless you really need too!
3. Bullets are as rare as gold, dont use them unless forces too, later on in the game you get a bow, you can retrieve the arrows once shot and this becomes very useful
4. Dont randomly shoot! if you dont aim well, 90% of the time, the shot will miss!
5. When use bows on open areas such as: the top of buildings and open streets, they are far harder too find than you think!
6. as explained at the beggining of the game, pointing a gun at people is sometimes enough too make them surrender, you can then go in for a quick hit too the head
7. Armoued enemies take a lot of hits too kill, however if you aim at the head, they will be killed instantly like any other adversery,

This game can be a headache if you dont know what your doing, here are some tips too help:

1. Dont rush into fights if you can help it, survey the area beforehand.
2. Dont get trigger happy! bullets dont grow on trees (Or anywhere else for that matter!)
3. Make the effort too help others around you, they might not give you anything (other than an achievment) but you might kill someone along the way, who could have supplies
4. Before rushing into a fight, survey the area for supplies and ammo
5. When climbing, you can still eat in drink, so if your low on stamina, just take a drink!
6. Make the effort too explore the area, there are usually more supplies than meet the eye!
7. Dont try and do this game in one sitting, it will drive you mental unless you REALLY know what your doing!

The game also has some stealth mechanics, however i wouldent rely on them, it is possible too sneak past some bandits though.

You may have come across points in the game where you are faced with three, four, or even five enemies, now the trick is not too attack strait away, make as if your surrending and back away, then when the first comes close too you, kill him, the second thing you MUST do in any situation is take out the men armed with guns, these are the most dangerous and can kill you VERY easily, quickly take them out and then point the gun at the others, 90% of the time they will surrender, however your time is limited, if you keep them waiting too long they will think you have no bullets left and attack you regardless, this is where it gets difficult, supposing you have a bullet or two left, you will be okay, you can take out the remaining guards (leave on) and then kill the last with your machete. this will work for you in most cases, however in the unfortunate event it does not, attempt too run and hide.
