Friend Invite Messages



You'd be able to attach
a message to your
outgoing friend invites.
It could be a requirement
depending on personal
account settings.
Rating Notifications



You'd get a notification
each time someone likes
or favorites your uploaded
content. There would be
an option to turn this off
in account settings.
View Favorites and Likes



Clicking the like and favorite
icon would show which Steam
users have rated it, allowing
you to check out their profiles.
Pinned Comments



This would allow users to pin
a single comment to the top
of their profile's comment
section so it always stays
at the top.
Bookmark Market Items



This would allow you to
bookmark market items to
keep track of them without
having to bid on them.
Ignore All Confirmation



This would add a confirmation
pop-up when ignoring all,
because currently you can
accidentally ignore 200+
invites with a single misclick,
especially on mobile.
Steam Client Tabs



This would allow you to open
multiple tabs in the Steam
client.
Reply to Profile Comments



Allows you to directly reply to
profile comments.
Unsubscribe from All Discussions



This would allow you to
unsubscribe from all discussions
you're currently subscribed to in
a single click
Change Level Colors



Allow users to change their level
emblem to any color they've
previously unlocked.
Stats in Content Showcases



This would show the
combined statistics of ratings
and views on guide and
workshop showcases.
Status Colors



This would give you more status
options and they'd be color coded.
Friend Invite Requirements



This would allow a series of
requirements you can set
that users must meet to send
you friend invites, including
minimal level, amount of
mutual friends, and more.
Report or Reset Achievements



This would allow you to either
report an achievement for
being broken or impossible,
or reset achievements so you
can enjoy unlocking them again.
Disposable Inventory Items



This would allow you to easily
delete items from your inventory.
Profile Badge Customization



This would allow you to change
which badges show up in the
corner of your profile instead
of it always showing recently
crafted badges.
Search Library by Genre



This would allow you to search
your Steam library by genre
using the tags each game has
from its store page.
Mass Comment on Friend Profiles



This would allow you to send a
well wishing comment to multiple
friends at once. You can do this
by following this guide, but it's
not currently a default feature.
Private Profile for Blocked Users



This would display your profile
as private to users that are
either blocked by you or
that aren't logged into Steam.
Video Showcase



This would allow you to showcase
YouTube videos on your profile.
View Followers



This would allow you to see who
follows you. This would not show
users who have enabled strict
privacy settings.
Change Profile Color



This would allow you to choose
which color your profile's interface
is to better match your theme.
Friend Only Visible Comments



This would only allow friends
to see and use your comment
section. Your comments would
be invisible to other users.
Animated Avatars
Group Analytics



This would allow group owners to
view traffic and member analytics
for their group.
Background Rotation



This would let users add up to
five backgrounds into a rotation
that would show a different one
on their profile each time their
page is refreshed.
Send Images in Mobile Chat



This would allow you to send
images in mobile chat, since
currently sending images is
only available on PC.
Upload Images to Activity Feed



This would allow you to upload
custom images straight to your
activity feed. This would create
an "Activity Photos" section to
your profile page that can be
either private or public.
Three Primary Groups



This would allow you to choose
which three groups you want to
showcase on your profile instead
of just one.
Private Group Pages



This would allow groups to
have a stricter privacy setting
that only allows members to
view the group's page.
Currently only official Valve
groups can have this setting.
Activity Posts Visible for Followers



This would give you the option
to let your followers see your
activity posts. Users would be
able to disable this in privacy
settings.
Delete All Page Comments



This would allow you to delete all
of your profile or group comments.
Favorite Emoticons



This would display your most
used emoticons at the top of
your emoticon window.
Private Levels



This would allow you to make
your level private while keeping
your profile public.
Reclaim Inactive Custom URLs



This feature wouldn't be
publicized, but this would
allow users to contact Steam
support about reclaiming a
custom URL that is currently
being used by a dead account.
This request would either be
granted or denied depending
on case to case circumstances.
Profile Timezones



This would allow you to add your
timezone to your profile page.
Mass Gem Converting



This would allow you to select
multiple inventory items to mass
convert them into gems
Embed Descriptions



This would add a description
preview in the embed of links
so you can get a better idea
of where links go.
Account Switching



Much like Gmail, this feature
would allow you to be logged
into all of your alts at the same
time and easily switch between
them without having to log out
and log in over and over again.
Friend History



This feature would allow you to
view a log of who you've added
and unfriended.
Client Spellcheck



This feature would simply add
a spellchecker to the Steam client.
More Prominent Follow Button



This would make the follower
button easier find.
Custom URL Restrictions



This would prevent new accounts
that haven't spent any money on
Steam from claiming custom
URLs. This would help prevent
people from opening multiple
accounts to hoard and resell
custom URLs.





Multiple Custom URL Slots



This would allow users to buy up
to two addition custom URL slots.

steam needs to add a check for prices of games, im so tired of games going on sale, and seeing a "Its 70% off!!" oh what they dont tell you is that they jacked the price of the game up before hand and in reality your only getting 5$ off.... its dumb, and dishonest, itd be nice to have a tool to see the price changes through the year to keep these devs honest.

Option to preview edits on you profile, so you can make numerous adjustments before clicking save.

The option to enable receiving friend requests from limited accounts.

Option to automatically add your pc specs to a review for a game. This could be helpful in case a game gets bad reviews for performance. Steam already collects the data via the hardware survey. It should however be optional.

Custom label for "Steam Library Folders" instead of just using the disk name: i share the Mac with my girlfriend so i added a shared library, but all libraries are named "Macintosh HD" 8^O

Feature Suggestion: The ability to turn off community activity for game pages
Reason: Visibly lags the interface and is usually filled with alot of instagram/facebook like stuff I just dont care or need to see. All those high res images just eat bandwidth too.

Details:
Provide a setting in steam with three options, on, manual, off
Manual is where the activity feed is replaced by a button that must be pressed to load the feed on demand.

Being able to add your birthday to your profile, so your friends can get you something from your Wishlist if they want. Implemented similarly to how you can have your location and it would let you surprise them instead of asking them when it is. :cleancake:

I am so confused as to where the friend history section of this comes from as I am the only Worsbee on steam and neither of the creators is people on my friends list
