Turn your Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 into Rockman X Anniversary Collection 1 !

With this mod your game will feature two more tracks on Music Player, two new trailers with japanese music, X-Challenge undub for MMX4 bosses, the japanese opening and credits songs when playing Rockman X4, Collection credits with japanese music and all game logo changed to Rockman X Anniversary Collection! ;D

  • Rockman X 25th Anniversary logo will show up
  • Title screen announcer and logos changed to Rockman X Anniversary Collection
  • Rockman X4 opening video will play the original music Makenai Aiga Kitto Aru
  • Rockman X4 credits will play the original music One More Chance
  • Music Player updated with two absent tracks:
    - Mega Man X4: Makenai Aiga Kitto Aru
    - Mega Man X4: One More Chance
  • Video section updated with two absent trailers:
    - Mega Man X7 Japanese Trailer 2
    - Mega Man X8 Japanese Trailer 3
  • Collection credits secret music RE;FUTURE will play the japanese version

What you will need
For extracting the mod files, you will need a program that opens compressed files, like WinRAR for example. You can download it here: WinRAR[www.win-rar.com].
Installing the mod
First, go to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mega Man X Legacy Collection\ (or whatever directory your installation folder is), and rename your original RXC1 file into something else, just for backup purposes. You can rename it to RXC1_english. Then, download the mod file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-rrXYNhSrPfAmwBTvGTihGWWK50yaBfA/view?usp=sharing, and put the file still packed in the same folder. Extract the file RMXAC1_mod_5SET2018_v2.0.rar, overwrite what's asked for, and you are ready to go!

About censorship
Please note that the japanese anime opening of Mega Man X4 and Rockman X4 were censored on this collection (the General salute). If you want an uncensored version, please download one of the options provided by the user Monterossa on this topic: https://gtm.you1.cn/app/743890/discussions/0/1760230157498395739/

After that, make sure the file is named X4op and put the file in the folder Mega Man X Legacy Collection\nativeDX10\X4\movie\jpn.

How to play the worldwide MMXLC1
You don't need to uninstall anything! Simply go to the game folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mega Man X Legacy Collection (or whatever directory your installation folder is), and run the RXC1_english file. Or if you prefer, rename the mod RXC1 to RXC1_japanese, and the RXC1_english back to RXC1.

This mod does not conflict with the original game files.

Just go to the Movie folder ( SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mega Man X Legacy Collection\nativeDX10\Common\Movie\ ), delete or change the name of the file THEDAYOFSIGMA_FHD_ENG.wmv , make a copy of the file THEDAYOFSIGMA_FHD.wmv and rename it to THEDAYOFSIGMA_FHD_ENG.wmv . That way the game will play the japanese version without changing the interface to japanese.

well,can I watch the Japanese version THE DAY OF Σ without changing language to Japanese? If I want to watch it for some day I have to change language for everytime

Sim, mesmo pq esse mod já vem com o executável anterior. Mas mesmo sem ele continuaria funcionando: apenas as vozes dos chefes do MMX4 no modo X-Challenge vol.1 é que voltariam a ficar em inglês.

Infelizmente eu não saberia te ajudar muito. O máximo que descobri é que no caso dos Mega Man X de Super Nintendo, o texto se encontra no executável do jogo (por se tratar de uma ROM emulada). Sendo assim você poderia utilizar um editor hexadecimal para traduzir os textos do X1, X2 e X3. Porém você se veria obrigado a utilizar a mesma quantidade de caracteres que o texto em inglês usou, resultando numa tradução bem limitada. Já no caso do Mega Man X4 em diante, infelizmente eu não consegui encontrar as ferramentas necessárias para extrair/acessar os textos, portanto não poderia te ajudar.

In the guide there is a link to a program that opens compressed files: WinRAR. Download and install the WinRAR program, then you will be able to extract the file RMXAC1_mod_5SET2018_v2.0.rar into the game installation folder.
