❥ Mini Medals Part 1
Need To Know:
❧ A total of 55 Mini Medals in the first Act of the game.
❧ In Act 2, it is possible to obtain a total of 20 more Mini Medals, bringing the maximum available to 75 prior to Act 3.
❧ In Act 3, you will eventually surpass the maximum amount of Mini Medals required for the highest reward, which is 110. It is also possible to farm Mini Medals infinitely in Act 3 when you have access to the Black Cup Horse Race in Gallopolis, or when you have access to fight various enemies in The Drustan Trials. See the Walkthrough portion of the guide for more details concerning this.
❧ A grand total of 122 Mini Medals that can be collected or found naturally without farming additional Medals.

Below is a list of the rewards you can obtain from turning in your Mini Medals. You can turn in Medals for the first page of your Album de Medailles at the Puerto Valor Hotel Casino, but anything after that must be turned into Maxime at The Academy.

Heliodor Castle: Third-floor balcony. In a barrel

Heliodor: Go around the back of the house east of the church and use the crates to reach the ladder on the platform. Use that to reach the roof and cross the rope onto the church rooftop. Now if you look around with the camera, you'll notice a treasure chest on a different roof in the distance

Heliodor, Derk's Shop: In a pot on the second-floor corridor

The Manglegrove: Upon entering the woods, take a left (east) at the first fork in the path and continue to the end. The treasure chest with the medal is on the top ledge

Hotto: In a treasure chest behind the house to the southwest of town.

Cryptic Crypt: Found in a treasure chest inside a small dead-end room to the east of the dungeon

Hollo Steppe: Found in a treasure chest at Gallopolitan Checkpoint

Grotta della Fonte: Hop down to the boss' level at the northeast section of the area then climb the vine on the right. Keep heading right to the dead end to find the chest with this item in it

Seed of Agility
Downtown Heliodor: Climb up the ladder next to the item shop then cross the rope at the top to reach the treasure chest with this item in it

Seed of Deftness
Heliodor: Behind the house just south of the equipment shop is a ladder. Climb it to reach the rooftop and drop into the chimney. Break a pot in the house to get this item.

Seed of Skill
Laguna di Gondolia: When you enter the eastern section of the wooded area, look around for a mountable Midnight Horknight and defeat it. Once mounted, fly to the "islands" on the water to the north. This item is in a treasure chest on one of the "islands"

Seed of Therapeusis
Puerto Valor: Climb up the stairs outside the church to find this item in a treasure chest at the end, in the corner

Ultimate Key The Ultimate Key is located in Havens Above – Place of Legends, which is where the giant memorial is that describes the unfortunate history of the world. It’s located in a treasure chest right in the middle of the area and probably best to grab it when you first visit here to talk to the elder. This key unlocks the remaining doors across the world which is indicated by a silver lock on the map.

Laguna Di Gondolia: ❧ 5 crossbow targets ❧ Have a tendency of blending into the crags and numerous cliffs which populate the region ❧ Need to venture to The Celestial Sands to find one of them 1. On top of a rock right outside the passage leading to/from the Gallopolis Region 2. On one of the platforms in the middle section of the area 3. Hanging from a tree above one of the walkways in the middle section of the area 4. Beneath the bridge in the far right section of the area leading to the Grotta della Fonte 5. On a rock across the water near the path leading to the Grotta della Fonte Rewards: ❧ Head back to only campsite in the area to receive 4 seeds of deftness

Costa Valor: ❧ 5 crossbow targets ❧ one of them is in the water at the very edge of the map — a location that most people wouldn’t bother going to under normal circumstances 1. Hanging from a tree directly to the north of the area’s sole campsite 2. On the southern part of the hill separating the entrances to Mount Pang Lai and The Manglegrove 3. At the edge of the map off the northern-most coast in the area 4. Hanging from a tree on a cliff located directly south of the small channel connecting to the two coastal areas of the map 5. On a cliff right by the entrance/exit leading to/from the Costa Valor 2. At the waterfall located at the dead end in the upper right part of the map 3. On a rock roughly located between the first and second crossbow targets hidden behind some foliage 4. Hanging from a tree on the upper level of the southernmost point on the map 5. On a rock right by the passageway leading to the entrance/exit leading to/from the Heliodor Region Rewards: ❧ Head back to the campsite by the Woodcutter’s Hut (the NPC is by the well to the side) to receive 4 seeds of life

Emerald Coast: ❧ 5 crossbow targets ❧ Among the easiest to find in the game ❧ You’re unlikely to know there are even targets here to begin with due to how infrequently you’re required to visit 1. Hanging from a tree northeast of the campfire at the edge of the map 2. Hanging from the side of the shack on the jetty 3. On a cliff on the western side of the area leading to the Door of Departure 4. Hanging from a tree to the left of the fork leading to Cobblestone Falls and The Kingsbarrow 5. In the water north of the bridge leading into the larger section of the area Rewards: ❧ Head back to the campsite to receive 4 Seeds of Magic
❥ Crossbow Target Part 2
Zwaardsrust: ❧ 5 crossbow targets ❧ Easiest to locate thanks to the general openness of the area and their placement at high elevations ❧ Only 1 that is obscured by anything 1. On top of one of the two massive bales of wheat to the southwest of the Warrior’s Rest Inn 2. On top of the windmill to the south of the Warrior’s Rest Inn 3. Hanging from a tree directly north from the ruins after crossing the bridge 4. Behind one of the scarecrows located in the northern patch of wheat in the northern section of the map 5. On a rock across the water behind the Warrior’s Rest Inn Rewards: ❧ Go back to the Warrior’s Rest Inn (the NPC is by the well) to receive 4 seeds of agility

Dundrasil: ❧ Hardest area due to its large size and many dilapidated structures ❧ 5 crossbow targets 1. On a set of rocks right after the passageway leading from the Zwaardsrust Region 2. Hanging from a tree located northwest of the area’s lone campsite 3. Hanging from a tree inside a run-down house slightly southeast of the previous target 4. On the wall of the second to the last house within the Ruins of Dundrasil 5. On the southern set of rocks located on the small island below the Ruins of Dundrasil Rewards: ❧ Go back to the campsite to receive 4 seeds of defense

Small Islands: ❧ 5 well-hidden crossbow targets & most time-consuming ❧ Located on a separate island and you can’t use Zoom to fast travel to any of them ❧ Rather easy to find once you get there 1. (Insula Australis) Hanging from a tree on the southwestern part of the island 2. (Insula Algarum) On the cliffs of the southern part of the main island 3. (Insula Borealis) Beneath the bridge connecting the two islands 4. (Insula Orientalis) On a plateau directly north of the pier used when entering the island 5. (Insula Centralis) On a set of rocks behind the small building requiring the Magic Key to enter Rewards: ❧ Sail to the Insula Occidentalis (the western island, and only one without a target to shoot) & go inside the small hut to claim your prize: 4 pep pips

Champs Sauvage: ❧ 5 crossbow targets ❧ Easy to track down if you keep your eyes peeled 1. Across the waterfall on the side of a cliff to the south of L’Académie de Notre Maître des Médailles 2. On a cliff near the bridge to the southeast of the northern campsite 3. In the middle of the lake in the upper part of the map 4. Hanging from a tree north of Phnom Nonh 5. Hanging from a tree on a cliff in the passage leading to/from the Promontory Cave in the southern part of the map Rewards: ❧ Go to the northern campsite to claim 4 Seeds of Therapeusis

Sniflheim: ❧ Map is split up into 2 non-connected sections so it’s recommended to do go to the western target (the first one I list) last in order to save time ❧ 5 targets 1. (Western Section) On a cliff in the first dead-end on the right 2. (Eastern Section) Hanging on a tree above the mineral vein at the northernmost point on the map 3. (Eastern Section) Hanging on a tree in the southern part of the map 4. (Eastern Section) On a cliff directly to the south of the northern entrance to The Snaerfelt 5. (Eastern Section) Hanging from a tree above some rocks to the northwest of Target #3 Rewards: ❧ Go to the NPC standing outside the Viking’s Hideout (the West part of map) to receive 4 seeds of skill

Snaerfelt: ❧ 5 targets ❧ Not too hard to find thanks to their appearance lying in stark contrast to the snowy environment 1. On the right side of a rock formation near the southern passage leading to/from the Sniflheim Region 2. Hanging from a tree to the west of the Royal Library 3. In the middle of the western wall in the section right before the exit leading to The Arborian Highlands 4. On the plateau to the south of the northern entrance/exit to/from the Sniflheim Region 5. Hanging on a tree in the small area directly below The Royal Library Rewards: ❧ Head over to the campsite to receive 4 sprigs of Pretty Betsy

yup & some are but others are similar & not.

I already credit IGN for those & DQ game require long hours of seaching which is why I created this guide for everyone playing DQ XI to have a easier time finding the necessary stuff they need C;
