Reason I note this is because it has been PAINFULLY common for new players on all factions of the server I'm playing on to go off and build their own base, stealing everything they can from the faction, thinking they've been doing nothing wrong.
The tables can only be placed on a 'foundation' type block meaning a structure, can't be placed on terrain.
You can only craft the building proponents at the Construction Table in the base. It is tedious having to go back and forth for sure.
I'm not sure, but if it's not letting you place a 2nd then it's safe to assume so. You might want to see if you can place one of each tier of seed (there are better seeds you can unlock through faction research).
Your base needs a Divinity Seed to keep it from decaying. Check the section "Building Interface, Foundation, & Divinity Seed"
