IMPORTANT NOTE: AS THE DEVELOPERS MAINTAINING GARRY'S MOD KEEP BREAKING/REMOVING FEATURES SINCE MID-2023 I WILL NOT BE MAINTAINING, FIXING OR ADDING ANY NEW BUG/FEATURE. CONSIDER THIS ADDON ARCHIVED AND WITHOUT SUPPORT. ANY AND ALL COMPLAINS SHOULD BE FORWARDED TO FACEPUNCH.

Are you a builder that enjoys the so famous hoverbike contraption? Are you a roleplayer that loves sci-fi? Do you love PVP? Then seek no more the hoverbike is exactly what you need!

The hoverbike can be found in the Q-Menu (spawnmenu) under the Vehicles tab in the Half-Life 2 category.

~ Controls ~

WASD keys for movements by default.
Left click to fire, you will fire a mega-shot each 5 shots, the more your shoot the higher is the risk of imploding.
Space to jump, jumping on water is not advised!
Shift to use the turbo.
Reload key to turn it off and on.
Alt key to strafe.

~ Options ~

hoverbike_auto_switch (default 1) Enabled, this automatically turns ON and OFF hoverbikes for you.
hoverbike_lights (default 1) Disables or enables hoverbike lights, this may improve FPS on some maps.
hoverbike_hud (default 1) Disables or enables the HUD when riding a hoverbike.
hoverbike_mega_shots (default 1) Disables or enables mega shots.

~ Server Options ~

hoverbike_allow_fire (default 1) Allows or disallow hoverbikes to shoot.
hoverbike_allow_dmg (default 1) Allows or disallow players and world to damage hoverbikes.
hoverbike_allow_explosion (default 1) Allows or disallow hoverbikes from exploding when dying.
hoverbike_allow_debris (default 1) Allows or disallow hoverbikes to create debris when exploding.
hoverbike_allow_ignite (default 1) Allows or disallow hoverbikes from igniting when low in health.
hoverbike_admin_only (default 0) Makes the hoverbike only spawnable by admins.

/!\ I do not recommend changing the values below /!\

hoverbike_speed_mult (default 5) Changes the base speed of hoverbikes.
hoverbike_turbo_mult (default 2) Changes by how much we multiply the base speed in turbo mode.
hoverbike_fastdl (default 0) Should players download assets of the addon when joining. (Note: you will need to restart the server for this to work).
