About the model
The Ninth building of my New England series, this building is also located in New London, Ct., which I visited on the way during our drive from New York to Boston. I think this town is like one of the best examples of small town USA. It got a number of interesting buildings, which this is the fourth one of.

This model has about 724 tris and a 1536x512 texture , with a diffuse, normal, illumination and specularmap. This model has a custom LoD, which is about 54 tris with a 256x128 texture, with a diffuse, specular and illumination map.

RICO
If you want this building added to your RICO buildings, add it in the settings menu, under growables. I recommend using the realistic population mod, this will calculate the amount of occupants in the building.

About the building
The three-story commercial building at 52-56 State Street in New London is known as the Marsh Building. Built in 1916, it was designed by Dudley St. Clair Donnelly, who was also the architect of a number of other buildings in New London, including the the Manwaring Building (1913) and the Dewart Building (1914), both on State Street. The building was erected by Daniel S. Marsh, who sold pianos. In 1908 he had constructed a building at 230-232 State Street for his piano store, having previously had a store in Lyric Hall on State Street.

Wonderful! Beautiful details, and it's the kind of building that will look perfectly natural even if it's repeated a few times on a block.
