The polycount set, while it won't make you look like a pro on the scoreboards, is a wickedly effective tool for both countering snipers and for supporting teammates in both offensive and defensive pushes. Don't buy in to the hype that the standard sniper rifle is the only way to go, the polycount set offers faster and more consistent shots, improved defense, and improved team utility which is vital for being a useful member of a public team.
