Fix the graphics bug in Windows 10

This guide describes what I did to solve the graphics bug (textures stuck in low quality) that happens on Windows 10. No need to install or touch any configuration file.

Windows version

I tested this fix only on Windows 10. I don't know if it will work in previous versions of Windows.
Anyways, you can try it, as following this guide has no chance to break the game.

Step 1: Open the game launcher

You can do so by right clicking TrackMania United in your Steam library and then clicking "TrackMania United Forever Settings":

Step 2: Configuration

Once you have the game launcher opened, press the button "Configure", then the button "Advanced"...

...and then set "Antialiasing" to "None":

After you've saved the new settings, the texture bug should be fixed.

Step 3: Play

As you can see in the following screenshots, the bug is now gone and I can enjoy the game properly. I hope this guide solved the problem for you! Please leave your feedback.

Maybe this guide didn't solved the problem for you. If that's the case, you can try downloading and installing the latest game installer (as far as I know the Steam version is outdated) provided by Kook. You'll need to retrieve your game CD key to activate it after the installation.

Note: I haven't tried this yet as the solution I provided in that guide worked for me.

Also, for people getting ghost textures using PC3 shader: Enable optimize dynamic geometry in advanced settings and it'll work like a charm

there are multipile guides for fixing this stuff. that semi-dodgy stuff will work unless its just a dodgy virus trying to steal yo account logins. i really did diffrent way. ended up pressing run.bat and clicked update. i managed to get a updater for steam version. and it fixed my problem

Hi! You mean the link to "tmunitedforever_setup.exe"? Yes, even though we aren't friends anymore, I know the person who uploaded it, and I doubt it is a ransomware. Which antivirus are you using? It might be a false positive depending on the settings of your antivirus.

I downloaded the file from the Google drive you linked, it fixed the issue but when I closed the game I got a popup from my antivirus saying it blocked a file from it saying it is ransomware just be careful with it, I wouldn't have bothered downloading it if any of the other 6/7 other options didn't work. Do you know the person that uploaded it is because it seems that it could be semi-dodgy?

i was messing around for trying to fix the issue. appearently i did the setup fix without ever knowing. it did worked for me kinda.

DISTRO=MILIN
and Update_2010-03-15 worked for me! I installed all the TM Sunrise tracks, so very nice

Sorry The Spoopy Kitteh, Distro fix does not work, patch installer claims that the distro is invalid. Otherwise, he says he does not need this patch. The AA trick also does not work.
