Crash to desktop fix for windows 10

Symptoms: In windows 10 crash to desktop after a few minutes in the game.

Solution: Disable any networking connection before starting game.

I also have Windows 7 compatibility mode on. I've not tested if that's strictly necessary.

I'll add any more fixes here if the game needs any !

Red River starts OK and you may even a get some time in game if you enter the first level fast enough. However after a few minutes the game will crash to desktop.
Solution
Disable Windows networking by selecting properties of the connection and then "Adapter properties" in the settings. Then disable.
Background
Codemasters says "Not compatible with Windows 10" on the Steam page. I don't know why they say this. It threw me to begin with. Until I remembered that Red River is basically Dragon Rising 2. That game also had a CTD problem with the solution being to disable networking. That's some shit if I've seen any lol.
Download xliveless instead. It's a DLL, just copy and paste it in the game's directory with the EXE. Works like a charm, and works with any GFWL games.

How the fuck are you suppose to play with a friend if you have to disable your internet? >=( This makes me angry. Fuck Bohemia completely up and ditching.
