Introduction

Thomas Was Alone is a platformer that will calm you down, tells a good story, and takes you on an adventure unlike most you've been through. This guide will introduce you to the game basics.
Controls
Left and right or A and D = move
Up or W OR space = jump
E = select character in order of the squares on the bottom-right
Q = select character in reverse of the squares on the bottom-right
Numbers = select character
Characters
Thomas (light-pinkish rectangle) = jumps
Chris (orange square) = poorer jumping, slightly slower
John (tall yellow rectangle) = jumps very high, moves very fast
Claire (big blue square) = very slow, poor jumping, floats on water
Laura (long pink rectangle) = slow, very poor jumping, other caracters can bounce on her
James (same shape as Thomas, but green) = same as thomas, but gravity is inverted
Sarah (tiny purple rectangle) = fast, double-jumps
Special
Buttons (white rectangles on platforms and walls) - run a character into it and something will happen
Colored buttons (same as buttons, but colored) - run a specific character into it to trigger
Spikes - hazard
Water - hazard to all characters except Claire
Goal:
Each character has its own shaped portal (goal). Each chacter helps each other reach their portals. The level ends if all of the characters are in their portals.

Er, I may be a complete and utter idiot but I am at the starting menu with "new game" and all that but... Um... I cannot find the button to select anything. Enter does nothing, nor does "e" and I have tried pressing just about everything I can think of. I'm sorry I'm sure the button is obvious if you think about it, but I'm a dunce...

How does this have anything to do with "co-op"?

I think you could add a few tips n tricks to this. Like how Thomas is high enough for Chris to jump onto but John is too tall.
You also missed that Chris is small so fits into the tiny passages.

That if a character is carrying another character they aren't able to jump.
etc etc

I know these things are self-evident, but so is the info already included!
