Quake (Original) Patch: Music + Quakespasm Port

This is a simple patch made for those who prefer to play the original Quake using the Quakespasm port. After installing the patch just launch 'Quake (Original)' from Steam and it will launch Quakespasm instead of glquake.

I just updated the patch. When you launch 'Quake (Original)' from Steam it will run Quakespasm instead of glquake.

Yep this still works for me. I setup winquake to launch as a non-steam game. Runs just fine.

Still works for me. Might have to manually open winquake.exe

Well since my launcher linked below still works as expected (just run Quake Original, and keep copies of WinQuake/GLQuake coming from my launcher aside), I am sure even yours should work Butane

I don't know about that. This remaster is great and all, but the source ports made by the community throughout the years are still a lot better.

Eventually l might update this patch to work properly with this new release, for those who who prefer to play with Quakespasm.

For a more and true complete guide, check this out guys! It has Quakespasm, Quakespasm-Spiked and more than 60+ mods configured, it foolish Steam startup and you can run it with Overlay!
