This is also the only real step to getting them, though it has a few parts itself. However, being as easy as they are I think they all together qualify as one step.

What you need to do is start up the game (duh).
Once your at the title screen go ahead and click new game (easy aint it?).

Once you have a new game going you can hit space or some other key to skip the intro, that’ll speed things up all by itself. Now from this it should show all the characters placing their money on the table, but there is a chance that one of them will come up short and bet their item (or items in Max’s case).

Herein lies the secret to this, if none of them bet the item, exit out and start a new game until one does. This way you can just keep going until you get an item on the table, thus speeding the game up quite a bit.

Now then the next part is to simply keep going all in for every hand. This will confuse the AI in the game as it wont know if your bluffing or not, luckily sometimes they will think you are and in actuality you have a good hand and they wind up going all in as well and losing.

The secret to the all in strategy is this, your only winning cause they will keep folding.
Yeah, that means your winning by minor amounts of chips every hand, but this pretty much keeps you from losing and keeps the AI from beating each other and taking the items instead.

Now this might take a little bit but I got all my items this very way in about an hour. Sometimes they will go all in and they have a better hand and you’ll have to start over, and sometimes you’ll go 15 new games in a row without anyone betting an item.

I bought the game to play some good poker with talkiative characters, but sadly the AI in this game is not up to par, they either crush you all the time or you guys staelmate all the time, so you should just get these items and wait till the "new and improved AI" comes out in Poker Night 2.
