Intro
Just to be clear I didnt came up with any of those tips, you can find them by yourself on the internet but you'll have to go through different sources and deal with contradictory informations.
1.0 version ( The end )
Alright guys the holy 1.0 came out on test servers, I almost dropped a tear when I got involved in my first smooth School fight. I will not update this guide anymore so you can uncheck it from your favorites.

60 000-ish people looked into this guide and 1% of them ( the elite ) put it in their favorites.
Asumming half of these guys are either trolls or bots, at least 300 players noticed a performance boost after following the steps.

Sgt Rektson from LAPD declared at the press conference :

" after a deep investigation, we finally found where Taco was hidden . He wuz in our hearts "

Remove Inventory Lag
kinda not a fps boost but still useful, it will eliminate stuttering when you open/close your inventory.

- go to game options
- Gameplay tab
- Put character render on " disabled "

you wont see your character's picture anymore tho
In-game graphic settings
I aint gonna lie this is a total mystery atm, like women or alien life mystery. Severals clans are trying to impose their vision of the graphicc, here are the main ones.

- The counterstricc , straight from Russia

Resolution : Lowest
Screen Scale : 100
AA : VERY LOW
PP : VERY LOW
Shadows : VERY LOW
Textures : VERY LOW
Effects : VERY LOW
Foliage : VERY LOW
ViewDistance : VERY LOW
MotionBlur : Disabled
Vsync : Disabled

That would be too easy

- The natives counterstricc

Resolution : Native
Screen Scale : Below 100
AA : VERY LOW
PP : VERY LOW
Shadows : VERY LOW
Textures : VERY LOW
Effects : VERY LOW
Foliage : VERY LOW
ViewDistance : VERY LOW
MotionBlur : Disabled
Vsync : Disabled

Almost wiped out by the counterstricc, most of them became alcoolic and sometimes you can hear them yelling " THIS ISNT SOURCE ENGINE" in the night.

- The bottlenecc

Resolution : Variable
Screen Scale : 100
AA : Variable
PP : VERY LOW
Shadows : VERY LOW
Textures : Low or Medium
Effects : VERY LOW
Foliage : VERY LOW
ViewDistance : VERY LOW
MotionBlur : Disabled
Vsync : Disabled

The legend says that screen scale shall remain at 100, because any other setting ( even lower ) would cause fps drops. Instead, you reduce resolution and smooth the edges with AA.
Textures depends of your graphic card V Ram, it has no effect on your fps.
View distance / AA ? ( + Taco specs / settings ) updated
Some players are reporting drastic fps boost by INCREASING view distance.
Same thing for AA, you can get better performance on ULTRA than lower settings.
The game puts more work on your CPU than it should, thus increasing these 2 options seems to force it to focus a bit more on your GPU. Try it out

I give you my specs and settings, keep an eye on it I will update these with the best average fps I get.

@ amd fx-6300 ( the minimum amd cpu for pubg ), gtx 1050 ti

Resolution : Native
Screen Scale : 100
AA : Ultra
PP : VERY LOW
Shadows : VERY LOW
Textures : VERY LOW
Effects : VERY LOW
Foliage : VERY LOW
ViewDistance : VERY LOW
MotionBlur : Disabled
Vsync : Disabled
Nvidia Settings ( updated !!§one )
- Right clic anywhere in your desktop
- Open Nvidia Control Panel
- go to " manage 3D application settings "
- Select " Program settings "
- find Tslgame.exe or add it
- Put these values

Anti-aliasing - FXAA : Off
Anti-aliasing - Gamma correction : On
Anti-aliasing - Mode : Application controlled
Power managament mode : max performance
Texture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization : Enabled
Texture filtering - quality : High performances
Texture filtering -trilinear optimisation : Enabled
Threaded optimisation : Enabled
Vertical sync : Disabled
Maximum pre rendered frames : 1

Also on control panel

- go to " Adjust Image settings with preview " section ( just above 3d application settings )
- put the slider on " High performances " " Use the advanced 3D image settings "
AMD Catalyst settings
https://gtm.you1.cn/app/259660/discussions/0/46476690870832888/

Note : this is for another game, care about anti aliasing settings I dunno which one is good for pubg. Supersampling seems to decrease performances. I dont own an amd gpu so I can't do any testing
[Windows 10] Disable game bar and DVR, turn on Game mode
- type Settings in windows search and open it
- go to " Games " section
- in the game bar tab, disable everything
- in DVR tab, disable everything
- In Game mode tab, enable it
Avoid memory leak
Restart the game everytime you die or get a chicken dinner
[] Power supply mode
Unlike gaming desktops, most of gaming laptops are branded ( acer , msi, lenovo...). Branded computers come with their own crapwares technology and sometimes it can interfere with your performances.
- go to control panel
- open program and features section to see every program installed on your computer
- clic on publisher cell

Now take a look at all the programs published by your pc brand. Some of them are essential since they run the touchpad, the webcam , the speakers..etc but be careful about the power management ones. If you spot one, type it's name in the windows search and open it. Then make sure it's set on high performance mode.

About Windows power management, keep it balanced it's useless to put it on high performance. This also applies on desktops.
About CPU tweaks
Let's be honest, all these little tweaks in this guide can't match against a proper overclock or advanced core settings, because this game is mostly about owning a monster CPU.
But now we're talking about hardware integrity, voltage, temps, system stability....etc
While GPUs come with built-in programs made for all users, CPUs requires a lot more of computer and electronic skills to be messed with.
Most important, overclocking your CPU will also blow up your product warranty in most cases

For all these reasons I can't recommend any CPU modification in this guide, if you really want to try it there is a lot of forums dedicated to OC with competent people to help you

A question, when i try to override dpi scaling behavior i go to compatibility in Tslgame but all the settings options are greyed out, what could be the problem here?

Interesting findings. More performance on my crappy AMD A10-5800K cpu(sata 2 mb) and GTX 970 4G , than on my Core i7 6th gen and GTX 960M 2G (laptop). Desktop also has an SSD already.

I hadn't tested it in a while, but Nvidie GeForce Experience was recommending higher settings than I had seen previously on the laptop recommendations, so I thought I would check it out. and to my surprise it looked WAY better and performed about the same!

Both pc have 16 Gig ram. Laptop has HDD (5400) and desktop has Samsung 850 Evo SSD.
