We'd be just as empty. Sure, people might admire us, idolize us even for our achievements... they wouldn't know that inside when it's quiet, deep down when we're all alone, our hearts still scream out "i can't!"
i can't what?
Find meaning.
We can't find it.
So why bother living?
Because where i can't--where all of us can't--Jesus can .
I wrote this because I once was in a very, very dark place and my heart breaks knowing right now there are people suffering.
If you've tried everything and are considering ending it all...
Ask Jesus if He's all that the gospels say He is.
That's something everyone can do, so if you can only muster one "i can", please, ask Him. I dare you.
