Audi AG - a German passenger car manufacturer based in Ingolstadt, Germany, belonging to the Volkswagen AG concern. Founded in 1909 by August Horch, who founded the new concept after he left the management board of August-Horch-Motorwagen AG, which was founded in 1899[2]. The name of the company comes from a play on words: Audi is the original translation of Horch (means "listen!").
